Do you have to notify DCL in advance if you want to park at the port?

Nope. You just have to pay for the length of the cruise when you enter the parking lot ($24 for the 3-night, $32 for the 4-night, $56 for the 7-night). Cash, MasterCard, and VISA are accepted.
