That's terrible, I've always heard tire problems are the #1 cause of RV accidents.

Stack,
Sorry to sortta highjack your thread.
Does anyone know any of the details of the truck/travel trailer incident on I75 in north Florida on Friday.
My family drove past and said it looked pretty bad. Both truck and trailer on it's side and the trailer separated from the frame.
They were quite shook up about it. DW reiteratted to them why it is important to keep distractions in the tow vehicle down when I am pulling the trailer.
Just hoping everyone was OK.

4mickey2 also commented on that accident. Sounds like it was a bad one.
By the way, I just noticed that you live in Kennesaw! That's where all of our money seems to go nowadays! My daughter goes to school up there!

86 years old strikes me as a little old to be driving a vehicle that large.

If grandma and gramps still have that big rig of theirs when they get that age I dare you to go up to grandma and tell her that lol.

Well, we live right around the corner from KSU. Can't believe how much it has grown in the last few years!
DS16 is getting ready to apply to schools. Hoping for UGA. KSU is too close to home. LOL :confused3

we saw the truck and tt getting hauleed away on a couple flatbeds before we got to the scene. when we got up to it, there was a bunch of camper stuff in the center, yet.
it is sad to see this happen. i tried to google the accident we saw and came up empty handed. i do hope those folks were ok.

Athens is such a great town. My oldest DD lives there. My youngest wanted to go to school there, but when we did the tour, all she kept saying was "Ohh, there's the fraternity houses! Wow! Look at the sorority houses! Oooh look at the cute guys!" Since she never mentioned academics one time, I told her that she had to go somewhere else for at least her first year so that she could see what she was really supposed to be going to college for. It was really hard for us to tell her that because we are huge Georgia Bulldog fans, but we knew that she would probably flunk out the first year because she was only interested in having fun. Luckily for us, the minute she walked onto the KSU campus, she fell in love with it and has been there ever since.

Small world! Our boy just graduated KSU last July! We used to live in Woodstock, just up the road.

We are just getting ready to do the campus visits. I will certainly keep an eye out for "if he is paying more attention to the sorority girls or the academic facilities".:lmao:
