I know we find out what kinda shoes we need to have once we find out our roles, but like what is the general style of shoe for merchandise? I was running by payless and think I know what kind I should get, but I wanna double check just in case

For merchandise you can wear black sneakers, or black dress shoes. Some of the girls that worked in my store wore ballet flats but the managers told them that they either had to wear tall black knee socks with them or get new shoes.

In general the three colors of shoes are brown,black orwhite and they need to be all one color and lace up.
If you get pick for lifeguarding or recreation they need to be a black sandal with a heel strap you can also wear an all white athletic shoe. No crocs.... but like teva styles sandals are perfect.

As there are so many locations for merchandise (and so many different styles), it is impossible to know what kind until you know your location. The shoes could be black sneakers, white sneakers, black dress shoes, brown boots, and so on.

I'd recommend getting a good walking shoe. MBT makes a couple kinds that meet the requirements...i.e. color, style
