well I'm back home now. i did see something that made me very happy before i left the hospital though. they finally took the breathing tubes out of mom, so she was breahing on her own. i was really hoping that they would do that before i left.i hated seeing those tubes in her. so thats good. she was talking a bit, but obviously the tubes down her thoart made her thoart sore and scratchy. they were gonna give her som ice chips soon after that. I told my stepbrother to bring her up a themos full of the raspberry lemonade i brought her tommorrow. that would make her happy, help her feel better too... she told us what her doctor said about her stuffed animals. Mom has an obsession with penguins, she brought one with her, and then i bought her 2 more at the gift shop, plus a kitty that looks like one of ours(figured a bit of normal for her with a kitty sleeping on her), the doctor saw all teh penguins and was like " there's been a penguin invasion!" i thought that was funny..
and on another happy note. me and Rob are still doing well.. 2 weeks now, new record for me and being happy in a relationship nonstop... we started talking about our 6-month anniversary, thats how happy we both are, and we are gonna take a 4 day weekend from work and go up to niagrara falls. also something i realized today.. when me and him go on our disney cruise/park trip.. it will be just before our 2 year anniversary.
at least things are starting to look up over on my end.. thank you everyone for al the pixie dust.. it really helped...
how is everyone else doing?

Hiya everyone,
JMouse, So sorry, I know your going through alot. A pacer is a quick procedure, it just works with the electrical impulses of the heart. Keeps them in the proper rate! It is a pretty routine procedure, compared to what your mom has been through. We even have them in children.
Well, AP rates came out through March 8. So we jumped on the band wagon and plan to now leave march 8 instead of the 9th. Got a pretty good rate and it covers everything except 1 night. Booked again at CR mkv tower. :woohoo: I could not get this on the phone thou. Only online on the ap site. :confused3
Not sure if I can tear Bug away from Jedi & Yoda. :rolleyes1 They are permanently attached to her. Not sure how she will ever go back to work. :sad2:
Already moved our air to that date and car. I got a pretty good rate with national. But the code is from work and you need an id for it. Or, I would share.
This last week has been killer at work. But, the weather is really nice today.
Hope everyone is ok. Hanging in there.

JMouse, glad to hear you finally have some good news. Hope "mom" is feeling better. I am sure she is happy to be home.
Hope everyone had a good weekend. We had summer weather here all weekend. Even turned the AC on again.
Jedi & Yodi, are growing like weeds. Very different having twins. They love each other, then they are fighting. Can be very jealous too. You have to be sure if one gets something the other does to. They are a handful.

Hi everyone.
JMouse - I am glad your mom is doing better.
MKY - who are the twins? I missed this news in the posts some where? New editions to the house I believe?
We have had wonderful weather the last few days. We are finally have a break from the rain. I did have to put the ceiling fans back on but no AC for us. It is cool enough at night to keep the house confortable.
Work is busy but good. There are a lot of things going on with new equipment and IT projects so things are moving fast. I okayed a scope of work for a new server project on Tuesday and they started on Thursday - this being a small company there are no corporate offices to go through. One meeting with the owner and General Manager to review the plan and they called them and told them to go ahead.
There was a performance in town that DD13 was involved in this weekend for the McGregor Clan family reunion. I sat in the audiance by an older couple from Chicago and thought of MKY and Bug. :flower3:
I hope Bug is recovering well.
Talk care eveyone.

Hi Candi,
Nice to hear from you. Know you've been super busy this year.
We lost Vader 1 month after losing mom. Now we are starting over with 2 brothers (liter of 9) jedi & yoda. They are also german shepherds, but 98% blacks. with a small white spot on the chest. We have never had two so this is so new. But, it has helped to lighten up the house. Keeps everyone busy.
Glad you had some great weather this weekend & congrat's on your work project.

I tried to post a couple of messages last week and the computer kept kicking me off while it was submitting. I expected to see weird posts from me when I got back on today. :confused3
MK - I am so sorry about Vader. :sad1: We have a 58 pound Shepard/Retriever (and a couple others) and she is such a great dog. I am glad the pups are helping to lighten the mood a bit. You and Bug have had a very difficult year.
JMouse - keep your chin up and never talk nasty about the Explorer while you are near it. I swear the car can hear you and will break down to get back at you. :rotfl:

Hey everyone...just checking in to say hello. Jmouse...so sorry about all with your mom. Hope she is home and recouping now.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I have been so busy with school that I have not even had a chance to celebrate. We went out for pizza on Saturday but no cake or anything. Bogged down with school work and the kids.
Hope everyone is doing well. Miss things around here. No time to catch up but wanted to say that I was thinking about everyone.

yeah mom has her good times and bad times... but her wounds are healing up very well. so thats good..
me and rob were talking more about our disney vacation.. the cruise & park 2 week long one.... since they just released the dates for 2013 cruises. im thinking we are gonna take the one on Sept 7th. get back on the 14th and go to the resort and parks for a week. less people whiche will be nice.. shorter lines and everything.. im guesstimating its gonna be around $6,000 total.. but im guessing well worth it.. the ship is the new one the Fantasy, so that will be neat to be on the new ship.. well year old by the time i get on it.. but still.. depending on how much it is when i am able to see how muchthe cruise is with the resort and tickets in it, i might get the tickets from work.. i can get them for $50 less.. come march-ish we will have almost a $1,000 dent in that, since instead of going to Niagrara falls for our 6 month we are gonna take that money and set it aside for our disney trip.. its about $450 each..

Hi Everyone!
Halloween is coming fast! My dear friend Alice - who came with us to Disney in 2010 is turning 90 on Halloween! She was 88 when we went with my mom and her friend.
Alice wanted a ride on the new motorcycle so DH picked her up at church and took her home on Sunday since it was a nice day. She giggled all the way home. She is an incredible women. :cheer2:
We had nice weather this weekend but it will probably turn cold just in time for the kids Trick or Treating.
MKY - I will pray you have a boring 2012! It would be a pleasant change from all the change you have had. Give the dogs a belly scratch for me.

wow 90?! thats great! sadly most people dont make it that long..and shes still that active even better!!
once again 2011 has been bad... rob dumped me.. somehow he couldnt do it anymore.. which no clue what he was talking about, because i dont actually consider going out once "trying" but not really anything i can do about it..
but on the up side yesterday my old friend Ronnie came over. i hadnt been able to see him when he was married, one of those girls that wont let him talk to any girls at all without freaking out that he is cheating on her, funny part about that is though, ive known her and been friends with her longer than him, so she should have known better with me. but yeah they are divorced now. so we spent all yesterday catching up and all that. it was great.. he cheered me up..

Hi JMouse
Sorry to hear about the boyfriend. It can be hard but we ladies have all been there.
You are young and should be dating and having fun at this time in your life. Go out and have a good time without looking to meet Mr Right. That is usually when you will find out more about what you really want in a man and what you don't.
Hang in there.

eh its alright. I mean yeah im upset.. but there isnt really anything i can do about it. so no sense on dwelling on it. it really helped when my friend Ronnie came over monday and spent some time with me. its been years since we have seen each other due to his now ex wife. one of those types he couldnt talk to ANY othe girls without her freaking out. so it was nice catching up with him.
I was telling my sister all about ronnie coming over and us catching up and all that. her first thing was about me and ronnie hooking up. told her i appricate her trying, cuz i know she wants me to be happy, but its a bit too soon. and me and ronnie are just catching up in the first place..

Happy Birthday EE22 party::bday:party: So I am late!
MKY - I am glad to hear that Bug is on the mend!:dance3: Also, that the "boys" are being boys and keeping you on your toes. I am sure the holidays will be hard. Hopefully you will make it through them okay. :grouphug:
Well, we are busy starting to plan out trip in May to WDW. We have nine of us going. My sister, her husband and their nephew (his side), our nephew and his girlfriend (3 years now) and then my family of four. Everyone is very excited. We have our plane tickets and our rooms booked at the AKV. DH and I have a conceirge level booked for us and the rest are going to stay in a two bedrom savanna view. :cheer2: We will have a washer and dryer in the 2BDR so we can cut down on the luggage for everyone.
I am trying to get creative with how to get everyone to the airport. I have a couple quotes for shuttles but they are $360 plus tip! Maybe there is another way? Any ideas anyone?
What about places that are great to eat at but not very expensive? The kids (19 and 21) have to pay for their own food as part of the deal. We covered the room but they have to pay for the rest.

I really hate to say off site for food, but within 2 miles of AKV there are a lot of places to eat and Super Target is very close too. You turn left instead of going straight...didn't know if your shuttle was at WDW though.
We go Shop does delivery and I also hate to say cook...but it saves too.
And, breakfast and lunch are cheaper than dinner at some places.

Candi, are you talking about your home to airport? I would check a stretch limo and see if that is a better price. Or minivan rented just for your party? Or meet up at the airport. Let them get there own ride. ;) :lmao:

Hi ladies!
EE22 - the dreaded "cook" word - really! :scared1: :rotfl: But you are right. The kids can feel free to cook all they want to. :lmao: I will stock up on hamberger, spaghetti sauce and noodles!
So the Magical Express is arranged for the entire party. We rented a small car for grocery runs but not a van due to the price for the week. We won't use it that much. The dilema was on how to get from home to the airport and back.
I am checking limos to the airport but after talking to my neighbour, we may have a plan. We can take 5 in my sister's car and they can park at the airport. My neighbour has a truck that the four of us can go in and we can fill the back with the bags that won't fit in my sister's car and our bags! I usually pay around $160 for a ride to and from the airport because we can't fit the luggage in my car so we will pay him for taking all of us. He just retired, so it will be a bit extra $$ for him and should work for us. :cool1:
I looked at limos but my sister won't want to pitch in and the 400 is more than I want to spend. I will probably help the kids out with at least one nice dinner (character maybe) so I will save the money for that.
My DD13 has been sick since Wednesday and we ended up at a Clinic, on the phone with Telehealth (phone nurse) and both told us to take her to the ER. Government insurance is great but if you take a kid to the ER with a virus, they think you are crazy so you need to be sure that they need to go or you wait for hours on end. She has been diagnosed with pneumonia. They put her on Clarithromycin 500mg and she is only 98 pounds so she now has an upset stomach to go with it.

on a happier note i might be having someone old/new in my life... I've known him for years and has been a good friend(Ronnie).. but now it might turn to something more.. who knows..
me and my sis are anxious for our vacation right now. even though its still 266 days away..
since ive been talking to ronnie again. i see how sad he is.. life has really screwed him over. and i want to cheer him up. He has never been to Disney. so what I'm thinking is maybe a surprise trip to disney for me and him. and if he gets this job with me, i put in all sorts of good words for him, and he filled out an application, the time we would be able to go wouldnt be till later than i normally go.. but...i would be able to do one of my disney dreams..so that would be great.. and Ronnie really needs to cheer up and have some fun.. i hate seeing him like that. what do you guys think?

Jmouse, Take it slow, and let things go gradually. It is nice that you are excited about him and taking an interest in helping him, but you are just out of something as he sounds like he is to > so enjoy this early part of your relationship. {{ You don't want a rebound guy > they never work out. }} ;)
So don't make him one. :thumbsup2 Good luck, happy for you [and him]
Hope everyone had a good weekend. My asthma is kicking into high gear, so Candi I believe your daughter got sick easily. Can they change the antibiotic? That is very hard on your gut and I am guessing 10 days to weeks? Remember, She will sound "worse" but that is what your going for. > Pneumonia needs to break up and come out > So she will be coughing more and mucousy > means your getting better. Keep her well hydrated that will help with the pneumonia and the "gut" issues. :thumbsup2

MKY and EE22 - if you have rain then it is heading this way. It was so here today but I can see it coming to an end. My allergies are bad with all the leaves on the ground and it will only get worse as they start to biodegrade.
Too funny about the boys not liking the rain. My Ginger hates to get wet and she is part water dog! At times I have to go stand in the rain with her to get her to go out.:confused3 She will actually walk around puddles when out for a walk.
As for being spoiled, yep I am. I lucked out with the doctor and the babysitter when they were little. I had the same sitter (excpet for before and after school times) from the time DD16 was 11 months old until they didn't go any more. She continued to take them on school holidays and in the summer until just a few years ago. I was truly blessed and I appreciated her and all she did. I was lucky to have someone who loved my kids so much.
I was never able to give much extra at Christmas each year, but when the kids didn't have to go any more, we paid for her and her husband to have 6 nights at Disney. We did a value resort, flights, park tickets and the meal plan for them. It was the best gift I have ever given. She spent 10 months planning every detail of the trip and it was remarkable! She deserved every moment of it.

There is some snow that stuck, but not a lot. It's been pretty warm here up until the last few days so I think this one went by...but I think parts of IA and WI really got hit...but I haven't watched the weather yet this morning.

I didn't have a birthday so you didn't miss A THING!:rotfl:
lol.. thats what i heard.. after a certain age birthdays no longer count right??:yay:
work has been keeping me so stressed out. we have been getting hammered with so much freight. we have it coming out our ears!! i know its the holiday season and everything.. but its much worse than last year was. everyone at work agrees so far.
Other works news. My manager of 5+ years left our store, he went back to Florida, at a Gainsville store. Patrick, or PAtrcia as i usually called him... he had his jerky moments when i was so ticked off at him. But i know im gonna miss him. and the whole fact he is going to Flordia where i want to be.. ya know.. especially when the winter coming.. so not far. we had cake and ice cream, and we went around took ppl's pics and made him a big poster saying best wishes and all day, had a card for him, and we all chipped in and bought him a watch for a going away present. they called everything into the break room, we gave him the watch, he was giving a little thank you speech and how much he was gonna missed us, and all that.. And everyone could tell he was holding back tears.. his face was getting red, he was choking up.. it was sweet. then he was leaving at6, an hour early. i caught up with him. He gave me a hug sayin good bye and told me to make sure i kept in touch.. i told him of course, i can bug him on facebook. Its sad i will miss him, as much as he did annoy me at times.. i will miss him. he was the type you could cuss with and flip him off and everything and not get into trouble.. plus he stood up for me againest another manager that kept trying to get me into trouble. so i appricated that alot. and when me and Kay go to disney next year.. i told her we need to make a side stop at Gainsville to surprise him.. its right on our way anyways.. thinking about getting a card then for everyone to sign too.. i bet he would like that
on other things disney... I found out how much the myshare will be from work. $450.. so that will leave me $350 left to pay on disney after Dec8th... not much left to pay off it will be great!! we are getting soooooo excited..
on mine and Ronnie's Trip.. I'm thinking about going for my birthday in 2013.. its Dec 12th.. mainly because i want to see the castle all decorated for Xmas.. I've seen pics and it just looks sooo amazing!! i want to see it in person! plus i want to have nice weather for my birthday for a change instead that evil S-word... Ronnie is all for it. I told him he needs to come over so we can watch the disney vacation planner dvd... maybe that will cheer him up a bit..

and the sickness bug hits me again! ugh! felt like such crap last night (tuesday). everything that could hurt hurt
first sinuses, all clogged and my head felt like it was gonna explode. then at work monday night i hurt my chest.. it may not look bruised but it sure does feel like it. then i must have slept on my right shoulder wrong or pulled something or something cuz thats what that pain felt like.. and on top of that my back has been killing me the past few days.. so yeah i called into work. figured tonight was better than calling for black friday or going in on black friday and being crabby to customers. im sure work would rather me have called in tonight as well.. its now 2am.. and i feel much better.. my pain is gone, for the moment anyways.. im mostly unstuffed and no head pounding.. so so far i call it a success. i think that stress from black friday played a huge part in all this.. but thats just a theory..

2 more weeks and my disney bill goes down by over half!! cant wait!:cheer2:.. actaully i do have extra money on this check.. so i just made a $50 payment on it.. so after the myshare money on my next check.. i will only have $300 left to pay!! yay!!and its not due till June 17th!

Hiya everyone,
We are at 100 days today but, bug is still waiting to get her vacation approved. And at this point looking questionable. :sad2: Send some pixie dust that gets resolved. Ugh. Trying not to get upset. Things happen.
I got our small tree up and decorated outside just a couple of things. But, no shopping so far. Probably will do that fight this weekend.
Just put up our small table tree, doubt the boys will stay away from it, so didn't do our big tree.
Really windy here today. Everything is blowing. Hoping it blows the possible snow east [sorry you guys].

So glad bug got vacation approved!! its always excited when you know for sure your off work and all set to go..
im frugal when it comes to disney.. i was just talking to a friend of mine about it last night at work. in my mind, not going to the movies, or eating out.. or buying that pair of shoes, that i can deal with.. because going to disney is much better and worth not doing or getting those things.. besides.. our store has been doing really well.. and every quarter, depending on how our store does we can get a myshare.. the price varies. and by the time next week comes around all but $500 (altogether) of the $2,200 that the trip is costing has come only from the myshares.. so techincally ive only paid $500 out of pocket money..since the myshare is extra money i dont count on.. and.. hmm.. i just thought of something.. that out of pocket money might go down more... taxes are in a few weeks.. i can probably pay off disney with that.. that would put it down to about $200 out of pocket
Hey mky, whats that 2nd counter for?

Love the Walnut room at Macy's. DD does not have class right now...just training, but it takes most of the late morning to early afternoon. I hope you have fun!! She knows what stop to take to get there now. She is in love with Nordstrom's the Rack:goodvibes When we went the first time she said...I don't know where Macy's is and I said...right there ;) it takes up the entire block. I was really turned around taking the el there that's for sure...we were down a lot farther than I thought we were.

MKY - I just read this news on the DVC board. I thought of you right away!
Villas in the works for Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
"Disney Vacation Club is developing an estimated 147 villas as part of the previously announced expansion of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Estimated to open in late 2013 near Disney's Wedding Pavilion, the resort's slated to become the 12th Disney Vacation Club property.
"We continually look for ways to expand Disney Vacation Club by creating resort experiences that our Members will love," said Claire Bilby, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Disney Vacation Club. "With the continued popularity of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, we are thrilled to offer our Members and Guests a new resort option along the monorail beam with easy access to the Magic Kingdom Park, as well as a variety of shopping, dining and recreation experiences."

thank you.. its was great.. spent alot of time with my boyfriend..
but some news on mine and sis's trip.. school starts on august 6th, which is werid, school here tends to start the 2nd week in august and in the middle of the week... so we are both confused on that part. and she wants to be here with her son for his first day of school, very understandable.. so i gotta see if i can move up our vacation a few days.. hopefully i can.. i guess if need be, if i cant change the dates i can get my boyfriend to go. but i really would like to go with my sister again.
update: i did my research now and discovered that if its 44 or less days till arrival there is a $50 fee, so im assuming if over 44 days there is no fee.. and with me planning so far in advance might come in handy here, and there will be no fee for changing the days.... we are looking at July 24-August 5th
another thing i thought on is. moving up mine and Ronnie's vacation to disney.. i can wait to see the lights till we move down there..but i love the ultra short lines in beginning of september. Its great that time of year.. no waiting.. only time it gets busy during that time is after 4pm!! so thats a pretty good day long of no-almost no waiting time..not to mention cheaper.. lol

update: well i will probably have to call disney back.. its another $265 more than what i already had... but i looked at my vacation planning guide from disney and its not in a different season, its the same one as i had before so i dont understand why its more..

Also we choose what to spend on during the year. Skip movies or activities during the year to save. My job = nurse. But being single income > it is a lot of strategy. ;)

Its alot of work, but something to think about. Even 1 class a week at Jr. College is so worth it. Opens up your choices. Nursing is still a career, obtainable from Junior college and the pay is soooooooooooo much better now then when I started. And you can get a job just about anywhere. Just something to think about. :confused3
But, someday I aspire to be the walmart greeter. With no ones life in my hands. So it is a trade off. ;)

But, someday I aspire to be the walmart greeter. With no ones life in my hands. So it is a trade off. ;)

Hi JMouse
MKY gives good advise. ;) You are young and could make a more comfortable life for yourself with more options open and school does that. :flower3:
I work as a planner/scheduler/production manager and it pays pretty well. :goodvibes
We have to plan to spend carefully during the year and get any discounts we can to maximize our dollars. That dang money tree in the yard is not blooming dollars yet! :lmao:
My favorite resort is Animal Kingdom Lodge. We own the Disney Vacation Club and they built a resort at that location a few years back. Then they build at the contemporary and they are now going to build at the Grand Floridian soon. I will definately being staying there when it is done. :cool1:
Only one week till Christmas and I have been fighting a virus for three weeks now! It is all in my head. I had an infection after the first week and finished the antibiotics and all the green stuff is gone but the virus lives on.... rrrggg. I am sick of being sick! My tree is not up and I have only half of my shopping done! I hear that it is hanging on with everyone that has it. My lungs feel okay so I am lucky that way.

the main thing right now is i do really want to move to florida.. and im working on that right now. paying off my charges, got one paid off already.. each pay off im looking at as another step towards moving there... nd with the job i have right now.. when i go to florida i can just transferr to a store down there, so instead of having to go there and search for a job i can already have one lined up.. so im fine with that job right now..
have you gone to the doctors? if not.. you should there are some pretty nasty things going around right now..might have to be on some type of antibiotics..

EE22, we are going over everyone's spring break  :scared1:
March is c r a z y !! But, might be our last march. Our work request used to go march to march, now will be jan to jan > so looking forward to maybe april or may? Would love it a bit warmer, and less rain. Not to mention away from spring break [and hopefully easter crowds].
TP2, does this mean you are looking into July? not august?
Tomar, hoping your cold is doing better.
Candi, sorry about your PC. Sorry santa didn't send you a new one.
I wanted a tablet but, will have to shop for that myself. ;)
JMouse, Hope things are better at work.
Planning wise, we looked over our adr's again today and thinking about a couple of adjustments. But, any changes would be in the "new" policy. We had a few buffets but seems the prices are really outrageous for some of these. And with just adults > you really don't get that much character interaction. Most just autograph and picture > move on...... I can see paying $$$ for citrico's or the tea's but 40.00 each for 1900 parke faire, not that interested in, nor would we eat that much. I would rather pay for a nice [quiet ] meal.
Did you guys see the "big" announcement. leap year 24hrs and the free day thing. We do fit over the time a couple of days but, it would knock me off of the last ap rate > and I doubt i can get a better deal than that right now > if I changed to some kind of 3 day package. For march I have an ap rate at CR that starts for us on march 8th > but that is the last day of the offer. Somehow it went for our whole 2 weeks, although I thought they stopped doing that. It went through the computer so I booked it and haven't looked back. ;) Its a great deal I pulled for the 2 weeks. {prime time} :wizard:

Yes...the buffet pricing is becoming really out of this world ...for that reason ,Mr. Tomar and I have been doing the DDP for the last year, and will again this year with the Kiddos coming down for a week !!:goodvibes
Besides the TS meal, its gives a QS option and snack as well...We enjoyed the variety of it last summer..;)

MKY: Congrats to you on 5000 posts. I am WAYYYYY behind!!!
Dh has a friend that is looking to rent out his points for DVC so we are working on that but still don't have a week. He is only asking $800 for the week for a 2 bedroom unit at the Boardwalk. I have no clue how that is working but I will take it. Bonus trip to the world that we were not counting on. Not sure if we will have any cash with me being out of work so we may just be driving down and eating pizza all week! I don't really care. We only have one park ticket too, left over from a package a few years ago. I think I am going to look into the tickets that you buy that are connected to classes. Have to look into those though.
Tomar: So happy to see that the kids are coming down again. I agree aboout the DP. That was the big downside for me with renting the unit. We cannot get the DP. I of course like the DP for free because it costs us $220 per day for the plan. We shall see. Seems like a lot but maybe if I get a job we will just suck it up. Otherwise, with a 2 bedroom we will have a kitchen so we can easily make a couple of meals to offset the food cost.

But right now I'm sad. He has to go to drill this weekend. But as if that wasn't bad enough. On a normal drill weekend he is only there during the day and can come home. But oh no not this time. He has to stay overnight. I've never felt more lonely in my life. Barely can stop crying.

Here in Illinois, we don't worry about the roads or cost. We just build another tollway or raise the prices again.......:scared1:

01-09-2012, 08:07 PM
Toll increases were HUGE!!! WOW!! basically double at each toll...paying cash would be 10 bucks to Naperville now and that's not even all the way for us...1/2 the cost with the IPass. Insanity.

Toll increases were HUGE!!! WOW!! basically double at each toll...paying cash would be 10 bucks to Naperville now and that's not even all the way for us...1/2 the cost with the IPass. Insanity.
They have been taking cues from buffet increases at WDW!:rotfl:
EE22, Oh yeah, that's how we do it in illinois. Go BIG or go home. :rotfl: We are trying to support our ex-governer's in prison. :lmao:

I can't remember the last time we did not go away for a winter break. It must be back in the early 2000s. We use to go the first week in February because it was ssoooo much cheaper than March. But once the kids started to get older, we changed to March break.

With the trip to DL we don't have that many left from when I got them in Dec, but we can bank a year. I don't have to do that till July so it gives me some time to figure out if we can venture down in Dec 2012.
Planning on fall 2013 for sure...I can only get two days...around Labor Day would be nice, but I don't think the parties started that early.

Ugh, I guess there is a down side to :teacher: Also looked like the promised land to many ped nurses. Should of, would of, could of?
I found this info on deb's site: 2011 Dates
-- September 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
-- October 2, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, and 31
-- November 1
Guess your right. Looks like they started the 2nd week? Sorry.

Fall is really nice at wdw. They started mnsshp so early last year [early sept] so you can go even when its still warm [if possible with :teacher:?] Or I think they lasted till a week after halloween? I thought you had to use some points every year or can you pull them all through till then?
The weather is great. Barely rains, and not bad for bugs either.
But, you will have to start thinking of your costume???? :rolleyes1

After DL we don't have that many points left and I can bank them and I don't have to decide till July for that. We have to move DD in over Labor day...and I checked the dates and they are mid September. We shall see what works. It's not for another year anyway. But if we cannot go over winter break in 2012 maybe we'll do that this fall. Who knows!! I can only go for 2 days for MNSSHP.

Hiya everyone! :yay:
Hope your all having a great weekend. AP discounts came out till mid june. So very glad I up'd my date by 1 day and jumped on the last ap offer.
This new one was really limited offerings and not much off it seemed. I have 1 day over "my" 14 days so I had 1 day at rack and with new discount saved 30.00 on the whole day. Really not much for those prices.
But, I am lucky we did so well with the early, so not going to sweat it.
Anyone needing the ap rate up to mid june its online. But, I thought you guys where going later?
I have been planning a trip now for end of june > july. But it's not for us. Just helping someone.

Next week on feb 6th. I get to put in the days for my Disney vacation. And my manager is very happy with me right now. So I'm positive to get it. Can't wait. I do have a back up plan sorta if my Sis can't get someone to cover for her at work. If I can and his drill permits. I will change her name to his. And me and the hunnie can go this year and next!! Lol
It will be great whenever I get him to Disney. His first visit. I love going with ppl for their first time. Seeing their face light up and all that. All the fun we will have. It will be our first couple trip. I....uh...kinda had a vision the other night. Um.....me and my hunnie at Disney. Standing in front of the castle watching the fireworks. He turns to me tells me how much he loves me then asks me to marry him. My gawd it just sounds so romantic to me. I told him about it and he said it sounded romantic too. Even though at the moment he is adverse to getting married again. After how horrible his first one was. I have a gut feeling that things will change on our trip. By then or during our trip. I think things have already changed slightly. But it's hard to tell.
I found this funny graphic the other day it says "screw prince charming. I have a solider!". I love it.

WHOOOO, mky!!!
i have a whoo of my own! my manager finally approved my vacation days for disney.. so theres another one off my list.. now just gotta work on my sisters days off from work.. then its just packing and buying stuff we need for it..
though if she cant get someone to cover for her.... im changing the dates to September and me and Ronnie are going.. so really its a win-win situation for me.. either way im going to disney... maybe with my sis maybe with my hunnie.. in a way im leaning towards going with my hunnie.. cuz i really just want to get away with him.. some real alone time with him.. it would be nice..
