I just got an e-mail from Disney with a rate code for hotels.

AKL Savanna w/tax 182.00
CSP Standard w/tax 98.80
Wl standard w/tax 143.20

It is called the Fall Fling rates -- good thur October 2.

Don't think I can use it but I hope to be emailed again with some rates for Feb.

I also got a Disney e-mail today, so cool! I have received post cards in the mail before, but this is just like a post card but in an e-mail. Hope they keep sending them! The one I received is for select moderate Resorts from $89 a night, 8/25 - 10/2/02 with a new code, CQX.

Hmmmmm....I don't know why I get the emails then. I just assumed that because I was registered with disney.com I was put on their email list. Oh! Maybe it's because I ordered a vacation video? Could that be it? :rolleyes: :confused: Sorry I wasn't much help after all...

I've signed up for everything Disney & I rarely get the emails :( We did get a postcard for March, which was great!

FYI, those ARE the same rates that are on the website. You can also get them through CRO or your travel agent.

I never stayed at a wdw resort, in fact last year was my first trip. I saw a post about signing up at the sweepstakes site, so i did it and i got a postcard today

I called to make a ressie today and the CRO agent asked me for my email address for future mailings of deals and discounts. Of course I gave it to her! Just wanted to let everyone know that CRO is now asking as well!

Yes, I received a post card this year for a June discount! It was for $100 off per night when you stay at selected Disney Deluxe Resorts including Animal Kingdom Lodge. Aminal Kingdom Lodge was priced starting at $139 per night. The dates were from 4/21/02 - 6/22/02, must be booked by 3/17/02 using code CUI. Length of stay restrictions MAY apply. But we were already going in August so this didn't help us but I thought I'd let you know there was a discount for June back in Feb. - March of this year.

Thanks for the post card info. Does anyone know if you book a room prior to receiving a post card or know of any other discounts can you apply that discount to your room reservation?
