View Full Version : Polynesian - Tahiti or Tuvalu - I can't decide!

Which building is best for a Lagoon View? Tahiti or Tuvalu?

Tahiti appeals as it has two sinks, balconys on both floors and is fully nonsmoking.

BUT I'm a bit concerned about how far it is from the GCH - how much longer would it take to walk to GCH from Tahiti compared to walking from Tuvalu?

The most important thing to me is a great view, but I also don't want to have to walk too far to get my brekkie in the mornings or maybe I'm asking too much to get both?

It's so hard to decide isn't it? A case of information overload I think!!! I would appreciate any help and advice on this.

Thanks :D

I have been in both longhouses and Tahiti has a better view. Tuvalu has Beachcombers island between it and the MK. I also did not like to have to walk around the marina every time I was going to the pool. Tahiti is a short walk along the beach to get to either pool and you are very close to the TTC.

I completely agree w/Tikiman!

Tahiti has a fantastic view! and is only a short walk to the GCH!
I stayed in tahiti last May, we didnt find it to be inconvenient at all, and the view is magnificent!!!! :)

Definitely Tahiti! The views cannot be beat and the walk around the resort is very pleasant! Next time I stay at the Polynesian I will be staying in Tahiti.

And I agree that the two sinks are a big plus!!!!!!

Go with Tahiti!!!! We loved it. We had view of Cinderella's Castle and Space Mountain. Also, the first floor is so nice since you can walk right down to the beach to watch the EWP and fireworks.

I found Tahiti to be very convenient. And believe me you don't mind the walk on the Polynesian grounds. It is beautiful!

DITTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The walk to the GCH is only about 3-5 minutes and when you're walking through the beautiful grounds you don't mind at all.
