We got the Free QS Dining which worked out great as we were all ready planning to try it out. We do plan on making at least 2 ADRs that we will paying for OOP though so I totally understand about the park hours not being out.

we are going to be there Nov 28-Dec 6.....staying at AKL this time around taking adv of the military rates again....we stay at the CBR this past May....normally we stay at Shades of Green on property.

This is going to be the last time all 6 of us will be able to vac together. Our oldest switched from the AF to Army and leaves end of Dec. Our second oldest is leaving in Feb moving to NC to attend the NASCAR Inst. Our 3rd oldest is starting college majoring in criminal justice our youngest will be a jr in highschool.....so we are soon to be empty nesters and wanted to take one last vac with just the 6 of us!

Christmas in Disney is one of our all time fav times to go!

UPDATE: We've moved over to Yacht Club Concierge for the same dates! ADR's are made and we are in countdown mode.... So excited!

Sent a PM back to you! I feel like I still need to be planning something. We just payed off the bill for the trip. The weather is still warm here (beautiful here too) so can't put any clothes in the suitcases, but they are out (sad I know). I've started to get my backpack ready for the airplane as well as the 3 year olds entertainment pack.

Is anyone trying to get a specific area or room at their resort? I don't think we can go wrong at the Poly, but with older kids I would like to be right at the pool at Samoa so they are close by...we are at the resort pool frequently.

From what I have heard, the first couple of days aren't bad. Teams tend to stay in game mode until eliminated, so that means they won't be mobbing the parks until then.

We'll start off with a one night stay in Cocoa Beach on Nov. 26th and then we'll be on a short 3 night cruise on Royal Caribbean from Nov. 27th to Nov. 30th and then finally check in at CSR Nov. 30th thru Dec. 6th.

Looks like we'll be the only ones at BWI Dec 1 -8. Actually, I believe they are fully booked, just not posting here on the DIS. We have a huge discount on room our first 5 days so no free dining for us. I like lots of appetizers anyway so I'll enjoy the freedom of paying OOP for just what I want to eat.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the decorations, the Candlelight Processional, Osborne Lights, Fireworks, attractions that we did not see in May with our granddaughters in tow, Soarin - my favorite ride, food at my mostly first choice ADRs and just a week away with my DH during a busy time of the year.

We're flying down late on Nov. 27th, and will stay one night at the Dolphin. On the 28th, we'll switch to Port Orleans Riverside, and will stay there until Dec. 4th.

It's my 4th trip, my daughter's 3rd, my niece's 2nd and my nephew's 1st! My sister has been there, but not for at least 15 years, and she never saw the Studios or Animal Kingdom, so I say she's only been there 1/2 a visit. ;)
