Hi!

My boyfriend and I will be visiting DLP on June 2nd and we can’t wait! :mickeyjum We’ve had the chance to experience the ‘Disney magic’ before, when we visited WDW for a week last year. Unfortunately, we will only have one day to spend in DLP, on our one week trip to Paris. We bought our tickets online (1 day park hopper for 42 €!). I have a few questions and hope that you guys can help me to make a good plan for one day.

I know that on May 31st and June 1st there is a bank holiday in France, and there are probably gonna be loads of people in the parks. Since we’re going on Tuesday June 2nd, I was wondering if you have any idea if the parks will still be crowded?
Would you recommend that we buy a couple of those fastpasses they sell on ebay?

Since we’ll only be there for one day, I need to come up with a good touring plan and that’s where I need help because I don’t know where to start!

Here are the attractions I really don’t want to miss:
Space Mountain: mission 2
Crush’s Coaster
Big thunder mountain
Tower of terror
RnR Coaster
Indiana Jones

And of course classics like Phantom Manor, POTC, IASM, SnowWhite, Pinocchio etc. But I know some of them usually have shorter wait times than others.

We went on Buzz Lightyear Laser blast and Star Tours last year in WDW (I know they are popular in DLP as well) and I don’t mind skipping them this time.

We will have a park hopper ticket. Considering the attractions mentioned above, which park should we hit first? I’ve read that the queues for Crush’s Coaster can be very long, so would it be a good idea to do that one first? Or should we head to Space Mountain when the park opens?? Or take a fastpass for SM and try BTM? Morning in Walt Disney Studios and afternoon in Disneyland? Or the other way? Is it easy to go from one park to another?

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me make a good touring plan. I can’t seem to find any online...

Thanks!!

Ive just checked for you and the park is open 10-7 on the day you go (its open til 9 the day before) so that suggests its not going to be as busy as the day before. Most English schools are on half term the week before but some schools have a 2 week break which will include that week as well (DDs school does this year )

Out of all the rides you have mentioned Crush has the longest queue so I would do that first - try and be in the park for 9 so you can be ready to be on it as soon as possible after 10.

Then get FP for ToT and ride Rand R while waiting then head over to the main park.

You could get FP for BTM or SM then try to fit in as many other rides as possible while waiting. I dont do the fast rides (except BTM) so am not sure on wait times but I think probably BTM will have the largest queues.

It is very easy to get from one park to another - it takes about 5 mins to walk

Hopefully someone else will be along soon who can give you a better idea

I also think it might be a good idea to start the day early with Crush. There is no fastpass available and from all I have read so far it seems to build long lines very fast. I also think you would have a good chance that ToT and RnR will not have long lines in the morning so I would check on the wait times for ToT and decide if you want to get a fastpass and then ride RnR.
We did a 1 day trip during Halloween season and although it was very crowded, we managed to see everything we wanted (there is a TR about it somwhere).
I don´t have experiance with ebay fastpasses but can imagine them to be very helpful on a 1day trip, so you don´t have to wait long before you can get a new fastpass. You could get fastpasses for all the major attractions you want to see and go on the other attractions while waiting for your return time. I would also wait to visit Fantasyland until the parade in the afternoon, it tends to be less crowded.

I'd go with A Small World and isma's advice too. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Try to spare a few minutes to take in the Castle too ~ there is a resident dragon underneath and a gallery dedicated to Sleeping Beauty upstairs.

Hi,

Crush for sure is going to have the longest queue - probably best to do this first! R and R, never seen a queue of any substance for this even in August so you could just walk on! T of T, queues were around 15 to 20 mins, once again in August. BTM and PP on the other hand have queues beyond belief - if you want to do these then Fp is the porder of the day!

Thank you very much for the tips, guys!

So I think we'll start with the Studios and try to do Crush first thing in the day. Then ToT and RnR. What about Cinemagique? Is it worth seeing?

I bought a couple of fastpasses on ebay, just in case (they were really cheap anyway). Do you think SM and BTM will be really busy by the time we get to the other park? What if all the FP have been given already? Does it happen often? Which one should we do first?

PP will be closed when we go, but there are other rides in Fantasyland that we want to do.

Cinemagique and Animagique are both very good but I think you will struggle to fit everything you want in.

BTM does tend to get very busy and usually has a queue of up to an hour most of the time. Im not sure of SM as I dont ride it.

It can vary how fast FPs run out but last week - Tuesday during the Easter holidays so it was busy - we collected FPs for BTM at about 3.00 and got the last ones available (but the park was open til 8.00 then so the FPs were for 7.40)
