To honour the first anniversary of the death of Sylvia Murray, (one of our Canadian Board Moderators), the DIS Boards will go black for one hour today at noon.
We will always remember.

I will say a prayer for Sylvia and then another prayer for all the men and women who are fighting breast cancer battles of their own. Yes, even men get breast cancer. God Bless us all.

This is a great idea and it is important to remember those who we did not lose to cancer. My aunt was projected to die last year of cancer (she is only 12 years older than me) but luckly after a risky surgery she is still with us and will be making her 5th trip to WDW this summer. I am sure there are many other survivors out there who we must remember as well as Sylvia and the rest we have lost.

Steve, I agree, we need to Thank God for our survivors also and pray a cure to this terrible killer is found quickly.

I never knew Sylvia, But after reading all the links ands posts I can't stop crying. Too often we forget what is important and should cherish each day. The people on these boards are so loving and supportive. She was lucky to have so many friends. I will pray for her son-he mus miss her terribly. Beth
