Bus from Cabins to Meadows

We will be staying at the Cabins and no Golf Cart. Looking at the bus routes it looks like a pain to get to the Meadows Pool from the cabins since the purple bus goes all the way up to the Settlement Depot and then we would have to switch to the yellow from there.

Is it an easy walk from the cabin loops to Meadows or would we need to walk out to the main road and pick up the yellow or orange bus? We will have a car, is it frowned upon to drop people off in the car then turn around?

Unless something has just changed, the Orange bus is now going through the cabin loop, then directly over to the Meadows.

That is correct. As of December, the Orange Bus now goes through the cabin Loop.

So to get from the cabins to Meadows, take an Orange Settlement bus.

If you want to get directly to the Settlement without going by Meadows, take a Purple Settlement bus.

From what I understand, and this is only from past posts I have read, I think driving a car around the Fort is a no-no

Yes, you could drop someone off in a car then proceed back to your site with the car. There are actually also a few parking spots near Meadows trading post. 15 minute parking is allowed there.

But cruising in a car is definitely frowned upon... looping is for carts, silly rabbit!

Thanks for the info...I am glad the orange bus comes through the cabins. I will also have a couple bikes so I could drop off kids/wife/Grandma and then ride my bike over.
