I really hope so but am thinking it will depend on how the year unfolds financially. I want this one pretty badly as I really enjoy the fact that Toy Story Mania has made me want to go to the Studios again. This would be a great addition to the Studios and definitely make it climb the list even further in my favorite Disney parks.:confused3

I've moved this to the Rumors and News board. :)

I agree that Toy Story Mania and the changes made to that area are really welcome. It'd be great to see the Monsters deal added. I think that the Studios could be the "home" to the newer Disney/Pixar stores and characters. Kind of M.K. being "classic Disney" and the Studios being more current.

I'd love that ride to be added to DHS! It would help the park get more attention, but I still think they need to add/update attractions. I hope they announce if they are soon.

Monster's Inc. roller coaster type ride.

Oh cool. I was reading a little bit about Disney's take over of Pixar and I read that John Lassiter is now in charge of the creative end of Imagineering. Does anyone think that will have an impact? I thought the whole area around the Toy Story ride was done very well. If that's the sort of thing we can expect in the future I'm encouraged.

I am doing an internship this semester, and my manager was telling me how the stuff is sitting down in the lot across and farther down from TSM. It just needs to be built, but it is all apparently there. The manager supposedly is friends with an imagineer.

There's a Monters, Inc. ride in Disneyland Tokyo! But it's not a roller coaster.

There was an article about the new attraction at Tokyo (I can't find it again) in which Disney said they had always considered making the door sequence a rollercoaster, but this attraction was created to be more interactive and personal. I wonder if that was them referencing something at WDW??

Last may tsm was having soft openings while we were there one day it was not open but very quiet that way and we sat for a break, a cm came up wearing a tag in plain clothes. He was upset because tsm cm were not standing out drint telling people the ride was not open that day. Apparently he was the park mgr or something like that, my husband would remember, but he was telling us about tsm and what a great ride it was and he then said their next project was another pizar themed attraction next door.p since I had read about this ride or some version I assumed that was it. He was really nice I was suprised he told us that too.

I wouldn't really take what any CM tells you too seriously. A lot of castmembers really like to talk and 75% of them really have no idea what they are talking about, even if they do plans are constantly changing at WDW. I know because I used to be a FT castmember and people were assuring me the Monster's Inc. thing was already in the works like about a year ago. Ill believe it when I see it!

I think its more likely we get a clone of the Monsters Inc dark ride over at DCA
