Marriott Grand Vista

Has anyone ever stayed at this resort? If so, what did you think of it in terms of location(proximity to the parks), overall resort layout, rooms, service, food, kid friendliness, etc.?

Also, as I understand this is a timeshare resort, do non-timeshare owners staying there get a big sales pitch hassle the entire time? I'm looking at buying someone's week long accomodations there this month at significant savings through
e-bay is the reason i'm asking.

There has been numerous threads on the Marriott Grande Vista. As an owner at this resort since 1998 in my opinion it's an excellent resort very centrally located to all of Orlando's attractions.
