I can't believe it is two days until you go. How exciting for you, Mel and Juliana. I am so looking forward for your updates and your "trip report." My brother was supposed to come home yesterday but that did not happen. On the last round of blood work they did before they were going to release him, they found something in the kidneys. Now we have to see what that is. Hopefully, this is only a minor setback and nothing serious.***

***Update: I'm picking my brother up after my massage. Turns out the kidney thing was an effect from one of his medications. Thanks everyone here for the prayers.

My parents are in Orlando right now. Claire and I took them to the airport last Thursday and when we dropped them off Claire was teary eyed and said I wish this was OUR trip.
The weather has been for the most part OK. Though my mom said it poured all day Sat. and Sunday the high was 49!!!! :scared1: But other than that not too bad. I think she said in the 70's yesterday and a chance of rain today. They did Universal Friday and Bush Gardens yesterday. (A visit to Aunt and Uncles Sunday an hour away. I think they were planning on MK today, but it will depend on the rain she said, if not then tomorrow.
I am still jealous too. I would rather be there in the cooler weather than here.
That must of been a tease for Claire to bring them to the airport. Glad your parents are have decent weather. We are about to experience it too!

Just a few short hours! You're going to start this trip off tired if you don't get some shut eye! However, I know if it were me, I'd be doing the same thing. It's way too exciting to sleep the night before a trip!

EVERYTHING packed??

We spent all day running around and getting all our last minute stuff together. Melody got canceled from work so she had the day off. Good thing too. I can't believe how many little things we didn't have packed yet.

I made myself one more shirt for Epcot, charged all electronics, packed our carry-ons, TICKETS ARE PACKED, car is packed, and clothes are laid out for the morning.

Juliana knows we are leaving tomorrow and was so hyper and excited all day long. She was singing and running and laughing all day. Melody and I are excited too! We have had this trip in the works for over a year and I really can't believe that it is finally here.

MJ hasn't been recovered. I am so depressed about this. :sad2: :sad1:

It looks like it is going to be snowing lightly here in the morning and hopefully we will get in the air on time. It is currently snowing here right now!! :scared1: It was 50 here today and tomorrow it is going to be 57 in Bradenton.... 1200 miles to the south. Kinda crazy!

Melody's cousin, wife, and the kids came down to Bradenton today for a visit and to celebrate Juliana's birthday. She brought the most awesome cake- all homemade from scratch!! It is going to put the cake I bought for Juliana's birthday to shame. If I bought this cake in Disney it would of cost me about $150. LOLOL

We are leaving here tomorrow around noon to head to the rental house and meet up with our friends- Dave, Branda, Victoria, & Alex. The 2nd part of our trip is about to start!

We are at the rental house, which is nice, but with the cold weather the pool isn't heated to a temp where we can swim at night... which is a bummer. The jacuzzi is heated to the same temp as the pool.. it is not a hot tub. :sad2:

We got here about 4:15 and Dave, Branda, & the kids arrived around 5. If I'm not making sense it is probably because I had to many Corona's and Red Bull w/ Kettle One. LOLOL:lmao:

I whooped some butt in monopoly!!!! I took 'em all down!!!!! Juliana will be up at 7 and I'll be ready to hit the park!!!! :banana::banana:

We've had great weather so far. The crowds are unbelievable. I never expected to see it this busy.... have any of you seen 30 minute waits for Small World before? I guess you would if you have been during the summer or during school breaks. We waited 15 minutes with a 20 minute posted time. What did you say... you don't believe me? I am probably exaggerating?

Thank all of you for posting!! I am reading all of them I just don't have a lot of time to respond to all of you! Juliana was awake at 6:40 this morning (all on her own... believe me) and we hit AK. It was cloudy today and temps around 72. I have some really funny pics to show you guys, but they will have to wait till the TR. :rolleyes1

We had a nice dinner at Chef Mickey's and even had a little treat after dinner. Played some pool tonight (in the game room at the rental). After a call to the management company today the pool heat still isn't fixed and tonight would of been the perfect night to chill in the jacuzzi. I am kinda mad (pi$$ed even) about this... I'll be calling again in the morning.

Tomorrow is a needed day off from the parks. The kids are exhausted and so are we. Hopefully they sleep in a little (yea right!). Dave and I might head to the Poly and rent some searaycers before the Mets/Braves game. We'll see... Melody and Branda are going out at night to relax and have a drink or 2.

Well we are home and trying to dry out. I haven't seen rain like we had today in a while. Most of the day it was on off rain...but in the afternoon it turned crazy!!!! One good thing was it kept the crowds very low. :thumbsup2 Juliana had a great birthday and everyone made such a big deal over the girls in their princess gowns and their BBB makeover.

Going to breakfast at Kona in the morning, doing the family thing in the afternoon, and possibly hitting DTD at night. Well those are the tentative plans as of now...all subject to change. :lmao:

After 2 days of heavy rain here in Orlando, it looks like today is going to be great. Sunny, breezy, and about 75! :woohoo: Our trip is going great... hitting Epcot today. We are checking out of our rental house tomorrow morning and checking into CBR. Heading home on Tuesday. We've had a great time so far. Only 2 more park days... today and Monday. I think we might hit MK Monday and try to make our first ever (UHHUMMMMMMM) rope drop! :rotfl2:

Tonight I will try to post one more time. I'm not paying for internet at CBR so I won't be back on here till later Tuesday night. Melody scheduled Juliana's 4 yr well visit with the pediatrician this morning at 9am! :scared1: Juliana needed 1 shot- which she didn't like- but everything is good. She is in the 75% for weight and 50% for height. I thought she would of been in a higher height bracket. I think she is pretty tall. But whatever... she has been eating all the time.. LOL 2 hours after meals she asks for snacks because she is hungry. Maybe she is about to have a growth spirt. :scared1: :goodvibes

My brother is taking it day by day. Still very tired from all the medication he is on. The weather has been more pleasant so he has been taking a walk every day; unfortunately, it is supposed to drop back from 65 to 35 over the weekend and SNOW:scared1: and not warm up again until Wednesday of next week. But he's giving it all he has. He goes to the heart doctor on Monday and the lung doctor on Tuesday. Thank you for asking.

Glad to hear he is doing OK. He has to keep at it and get active. Of course not push it too hard. Hopefully he gets some good news from his doctors this week. :)

Good morning, Tim. We are trying to enjoy the weather here as it is supposed to reach almost 70 (although my poor hubby is home sick in bed; but Andy is on the golf course and Markie is probably sleeping before he goes to the doctor to see if he needs ankle/knee surgery). We are bracing for the 35 degrees we are supposed to get tomorrow with rain and SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

So YOUR trip report would certainly warm up these old bones so I'd appreciate you getting to it...sooner rather than later. :lmao:
