Is there a October 2009 Waitlist thread yet?

I wonder if maybe no one's had to waitlist yet (yeah,right!) I almost had ti waitlist, but it came through already(?!) At 7 months, I called for a few days at AKV, Jambo House. I really wanted a value studio, but was told none were available, so I took standard. After thinking about it for a few weeks, I called back to waitlist for value. But when I called back, one was available! I've even heard of people getting the Epcot resorts inside 7 months this year.

We have 7 days at AKV std view 1 bdr but wanted to switch to BCV 1 bdr. There were no BCV available probably due to wine festival. There also are no Savannah views for Kidani. I'm on two wait lists - not sure how that works. I really want BCV - what if I get it and than a SV opens up at AKV and they switch me back? :confused:

Thanks guys....I'm just trying to get a feel of what it's going to be like in Oct., 2010 when I'm going to try to get BWV, BCV or VWL at the 7-month window...our home is at SSR and would like to try for something a little different.

I'm waitlisted for any 2 bedroom at AKV for Oct. 11. I have a 2 bedroom standard view for the 12th through the 16th. I wanted a savanah view, but couldn't get that, so I'm also waitlisted for the entire trip in a savanah view. I'm hoping at least the one night comes through. It would be great if I could get the SV room for the whole trip, but I'm not holding my breath.

I have been told that you can ask that they note to cancel the AKL waitlist if the BCV comes through.

But you can always call as soon as you see the BCV come through and tell them to cancel the waitlist.

Friends are currently waitlisted for a 2BR at BWV or BCV for 10/28 thru 11/4. I already have a reservation from 10/23 to the 28th at BWV. If we have to move to OKW, it won't be a problem. It's their home resort and my next favorite!

We were waitlisted at BWV for Oct. 4-8 in a studio. We had a value studio at AKV. It took less then a week for it to come through. We love to be close to Ecpot during F & W.

We have a 2-bed BW view for Sept 30 - October 7 & then have a preferred 2-bed for the 7th & 8th.

Yes, we told them any view. I'm going to check back again on Monday. I found it hard to believe myself. They had lots of combinations of 3 nights, but nothing for all 4 nights. We're not about to move around over such a short stay.

Our waitlist just came through today! It took 1 month to get it.
We we're waitlisted for BCV 10/15-10/18 after making ressies at AK Jambo at the 7 month mark.

We have a waitlist for BLT for a 2br MK view (dedicated or lock off). We have a 2br lake view lock off already reserved.

I am on waitlist for BCV studio for 10/18 - 10/25. I currently have a lakeview studio at BLT. Either would be great but I really love BCV and I really love the F&W festival ;)

Today I just added a night to our Oct. trip and was able to get a value view at BWV for Oct. 3. I was a bit surprised at the availability. I thought I would have to waitlist for it. Maybe because it was a Saturday night??

We have a Savannah view studio at Kidani, but are waitlisting for a 1 br. We only bought 100 pts at AKV and a 1 br is 120. Now we can use some OKW points, but there wasn't one availaible when I called.

We wanted a Studio BW view from 10/13-10/16 and had to book a garden view 1 BR for those days. There were no studios available. We are on the waitlist for those dates for the BW view studio.

how are the waitlists coming?

Ours just cleared today. We now have five nights straight at the BWV's and three at BLT.

We went on the waitlists right at seven months. The BLT was available right away and we have been the process of piecing together the BWv's ever since. Previously I would have waitlisted each day separately but that is no longer possible. So I just kept calling each day until there were only two single days remaining. For the last month i haven't called at all since they were both individual days. The last one came through today.

It took a while to get everything at BWV's. There was quite a bit of moving since we wanted studios but i took whatever I could get. It was more work than last year. Waitlist changes definitely made it harder but much easier on the MS's from what I understand.

I think that we will be seriously looking at an add on at BWV's as we do love our F&W stays. For this year it is now ok. We'll keep watching the resales and see what happens !

We are waitlisted for a 1bed @OKW 10/25, I really hope we get it! We have a studio for 23rd-26th then swtiching to 1bed from 26th to 29th, I really want the one bed for the 25th. We are also waitlisted for 25th-29th 1bed hosp. house. I REALLY NEED SOME pixiedust: It's getting so close, anyone think we have any chance of at least getting the 25th 1bed and OKW?

We are currently waitlisted for BWV standard view 1 bed/and AKV stan. view 1 bed for Oct 4-9. We have OKW 1 bedroom reserved, but would love BWV. I can't remember when I made the reservations/waitlists, but it was less than 7months out....I think maybe May? I am losing faith with the waitlists though. The last few years we've not had good luck with them. We just don't usually plan our vacations a year ahead of time....:rotfl: so I know HOW to get what I want....just need to plan better.

We are currently waitlisted at BLT and BWV for 10/18-10/20 in a standard studio at BLT and a preferred at BWV. We have only been able to get 10/19 at BWV in a studio so far...every time I call there is NOTHING for 10/18!

So the trick is to find the waitlist thread, wait 2 days, and then you waitlist comes through! Maybe it was the praying smilies used! :worship:We got our one night that we needed! :banana::banana:Now only for airfare.....:surfweb:

We don't like planning ahead for vacations either and have been thinking of selling. I think with all the new members getting sign on points there are more waitlists than ever before. This has been our 3rd waitlist and it is getting bothersome calling and getting no availability.

OK I'm going to post again because I want to change our plans around and last time posting here worked so here I go. We are waitlisted for a BL view studio at BLT for 10/23-25 and also near HH 1Bd at OKW for 25-29. I have a 1Bd at OKW for my dates, would just prefer to be near HH and the nights I want to extend our stay at BLT we have a studio booked at OKW so we are covered. We are waitlisted for 10/25-10/30 at AKV (Kidani OR Jambo) 2 BR. Currently we are at OKW. We did have our 2 BR at Kidani but had to switch our week and that threw things off kilter. Oh well :) Hopefully it comes through :wizard:.
