Hi, first time taking the kids 3 1/2 and 7 to France next week, though dh & I have been there several times. Staying in Paris proper, we will have exactly ONE day in DLP, we are choosing between a Thurs, Fri or a Saturday.

I am wondering if there is any crowd calendar out there a la Touring Plans for WDW? It will be the week after Easter, so we anticipate high crowds, just want to avoid what we can.

Thanks in advance!

No crowd calanders as such - if possible avoid the weekends :) It will be busy at easter so I would go on the Thursday if possible and arrive for opening :)

Have a great time :thumbsup2

As Jackie says there are no crowd calenders at all for DLRP however mid-week is the best time to visit so it's another vote for Thursday from me. Certianly avoid the weekend!

will the week after Easter be crowded as well? Or will the crowds have lessened by then?

It's school holidays so will still be crowded.

When people talk about the school holidays is it British or French school holidays? Do the school holidays encourage more visits on the weekend too?

Do they have school holidays in June?

If not a school holiday, could a weekend be manageable?

At school holiday times the parks are busier but some weekends are manageble if not near a holiday event ie Halloween, Christmas etc

see here (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1008857) for all the school holidays

I'm not sure I'd agree with that Jackie after our experience in March and my specifically chosen "quiet", no holidays, no shows, no celebrations weekend :rotfl:

I think a lot depends on what you class as manageable too for me 2 hour queues are no go even for my favourite rides and I wouldn't even consider queueing for longer than 40 minutes for Fantasyland rides, although inadvertently we did for Pinocchio and Flying Carpets in WDS - The Waiting Time Indicators lied ;) :)

I would say you will have a more pleasurable experience avoiding weekends, although I would love to know how the crowds of March, which I would say were comparable/worse than our Christmas season 2007 weekend, compare to school holidays. It would be lovely to see some figures from DLP.
