I received my package today from disneygrandy(Kathleen).:woohoo: She sent 2 cookbooks full of great recipes from New Orleans: "New Orleans Food" by Tom Fitzmorris and"Cooking Up A Storm". Kathleen also included two pretty bookmarks with butterflies:butterfly on them so I can mark my favorite recipe page!!!:) My most favorite of all the recipes are the Beignets!!!!:thumbsup2 Even though it's a moment on the lips and a life time on the hips they are one thing I can't resist!! :rotfl:
I also can't wait to try some of those other delicious looking recipes!!;) My DH loves crawfish etouffee! When he saw the recipe it made his day!!:thumbsup2

I received a package yesterday. It had 2 lovely cookbooks from Nantucket and a butterfly bookmarker. I can't remember who it was from though :guilty: I left the note at home. But I love the cookbooks! Thanks so much!!

My package arrived today, she listed her last name but not her first name on the package, I'm not really sure who sent the package, Nancy can you help, the package came from Alabama. Looks like some wonderful recipes which I can't wait to try.

The cookbook is from the Telephone Pioneers of America, Alabama Chapter No. 34 "Calling All Cooks". Plus, she sent a package of recipe cards.

Thanks so much, looking forward to trying some of the recipes in the book.

I got a great Virginia cookbook, notepad and herb/veggie seed packets from PoohGirl71! Thank you so much! I honestly just made DS13 help me get our little garden area ready this weekend, so I'm ready to plant now!

And I'm so excited to have some of the Williamsburg recipes--especially Peanut Soup. yum! DH lived in Richmond and I was in Durham, NC when we were first engaged, so I'm finding things I loved...even pickled watermelon rind! This is going to be fun!!
