Hey all..
I asked this question before...but it was buried in the middle of a thread....so I'm not sure how many saw it....
Here's the story:
My 5 yr old son had a palate expander put in yesterday and he is not allowed to eat his FAVORITE food....popcorn. So he asked "will I have my "crank" out by the time we cruise?" I told him "yes." So he said "I'm going to order macaroni and cheese, fries with salt and vinegar and popcorn!" Then he looked at me and said "they DO have popcorn on the cruise, don't they?"
HELP!!! We planned this palate expander between two Disney trips so it wouldn't interfere with popcorn!! We MUST know...can you get Disney popcorn on board???? (you know the kind like they have at the parks....the kind you can smell 500 yards away!)
Thanks in advance!!!

As someone who wears braces (at 36 years old) I'm very sensitive to these sorts of things. ;-)
I'm not positive, but I *think* there was popcorn available at Preludes (the bar/concession stand adjacent to the Walt Disney Theatre). There might have been an extra charge for anything at Preludes.
Also, there may be a popcorn machine at the Buena Vista Theatre.
Does anyone have confirmation on these?
Have fun!!

Oh by the way it is the bags of popcorn not the fresh ones!! Someone else may provide other thoughts on this.

They charge for popcorn???? How much??? What about at Preludes, do you pay there also?? Popcorn is so cheap, you'd think that you could get a bag of popcorn for the movie without paying...

The popcorn comes in a bag like you get at the grocery packaged by one of the major chip manufacturers. If I recall, last year it was about $2.00 a bag. I love popcorn too, and it will do in a pinch.

yes, you must pay for the popcorn, and it is not fresh. I personally thought it was awful, but that is just my thoughts.

Wow, could you explain the "medical necessity" and use a microwave somewhere? My DD is truly ADDICTED to Kettle Corn. (Bless ACT II for putting in the grocery store)

Thanks everyone for the replies. Not really what I wanted to hear. I was hoping for fresh popped popcorn from the cart (like they have at the World) The kind where you have NO intention of buying popcorn but just get in line for it because of the smell.
MMMM.
Thanks again! At least I can warn my ds!

How can one sit through a movie without popcorn?
That is like going to communion without taking the wafer. Confession without telling your sins .......:D
