What do you wanna know ? I live 20 minutes from there and have camped many times. It is not a very upscale campground though. The wash house is very dated last time I was there. The kids play area is okay. The best part about the campgrounds is the location. Its a short walk to the beach and it is connected to the Audobon Bird Sanctuary. There is a boat lauch across the street if you need it and also the ferry lauch. The ferry runs over to Ft Morgan and is a connection into Gulf Shores and Western Florida.
Overall I would say the campgrounds is okay for the price and good place to spend a few days.

I've been by it many times and went in to look around once but never stayed in it. It has, as Flametamr said, that worn look and the sites are close together. Another thing is during different periods of the year there are some folks who set up for several months (gas rig workers, snow birds, summer breakers) giving it that "lived in" look.
On the other hand, it is a short walk through the woods to the beach, the bird sanctuary is adjacent, the ferry across the street, Fort Gaines (civil war era) a block away, and the Estuarium (learning center/museum of Mobile Bay) offers an educational slant. If you have a travel trailer I would say stay there (I have a pop-up and because of the close sites=noise and tired facilities I haven't stayed). It's not convenient to the interstate if you are on your way to the Fort and maybe 1-2 restaurants on the island but if that's what you're looking for this is it.

Yes I forgot to add it's a very long drive with one way in and out from the interstate. Unless you take the ferry east. Gulf State park in Gulf Shores is much better and its not on a dead end island. You can loop thru Florida along the 98 beach route to get back on the interstate.
There is a lack of adequite food on the island too. Only one seafood resturant is open most days. The other one is only open on some afternoons.
