Movies on July 6th Cruise Confirmed!

I just got off the phone with DCL to find out which movies will be playing on our July 6th cruise.

According to DCL, they are:

Return to Neverland
Princess Diaries
Atlantis: Lost Empire
Monsters, Inc.
Toy Story 2
Royal Tennebaums
Snow Dogs
Count of Monte Cristo
The Rookie
Tomb Raiders
Big Trouble
Harry Potter

Of course (as with everything), these are subject to change.

Disappointingly, Lilo and Stitch (Disney's new animation due out June 21) is not scheduled. I find this strange. In the past, didn't DCL always have new releases within a couple days of the release date?

That DOES seem strange that Lilo & Stitch would not be playing, I would suspect that might change before your cruise date. They do seem to always be showing the latest Disney film and L & S would certainly be the one for your cruise. :)

How far ahead can you find out what movies are playing? Our trip is not until 8/24. My kids did not have a chance to see The Rookie and now it's gone from most of the theatres around here. It would be great if we could see it on the cruise.

I'm not sure how far out they have that information. I waited until 30 days out figuring by now they know what's going to be playing. I hope they add Lilo & Stitch to the list, though.

Give DCL a call and ask for reservations. Someone should e able to tell you if they have that information.

btw, the Rookie is a GREAT family movie. I even found a great use for cut human hair! If you've seen the movie, you know what I'm talking about.

Thanks for checking that out - I have a feeling they'll have Lilo playing. Like past movies, I'll bet they play it in the Walt Disney Theatre one night as a special treat. Some of those are pretty old! They could really use a change there. My dd6 is jumping up and down at the prospect of watching Monsters, Inc. again. :bounce:

What a great list of movies. With all of those playing, i would never get out of the theater. Happy Sailing :)

I just called DCL to ask about my dining rotation (which she took and said they would email dining and request it for me) and I also asked about movies and she pulled up Harry Potter, Legally Blonde, Princess Diary's...then she said to me that those were old movies, put me on hold again and then came back and told me to call a week prior to our cruise and they would know the movies for sure.
She said that she thought Lilo and Stitch would be playing then!
