Any luck with BCV bookings

I am just curious how hard it is to book a trip to BCV if that is not your home resort. Has anyone had any luck booking in the 7 month period... Thanks for the response.

we called a month ago and got BCV studio for firstr week in Nov,no problem.

DH and I are considering a last minute trip (sort of). I called MS this morning and asked about availability for September 12-16 and I was told there was availabllity for both studios and one bedrooms but not to wait too long to book. BCV is not my home resort and I was both surprised and happy that they still have availability!

We got thanksgiving week at the BCV at 7 months. BWV is our home resort and we were on the wait list there. We waited to long to make the BW reservations and didn't take advantage of the 11 month window.

We called last month and got a one bedroom for sept 15-20. no problem........dave:D

On the other hand, I called last week and couldn't get a 2 bedroom for any Sunday thru Wednesday nights starting October 20 and going through the 2nd week in November. However, I was told to waitlist, since new units become available as more points are sold, and that waitlist gets first preference. I almost think that maybe new owners should have first shot at making a reservation within a certain period after purchase.

I tried several weeks ago to get a studio for a Monday thru Friday at the BCV anytime in July (for our 25th Weddining Anniversary), then I tried June and August and the best I could come up with was the first week in September. Don't wait...if you are interested in BCV, call now and make your reservations.

We called Monday and booked a studio for the second week of September, no problem!

We called 6 months out and got a 1 BR for the middle of November at BCV.

I called at 7 months out for a 1 BR the first week in December. I got put on the waitlist and less than 2 weeks later I got my confirmation. I would encourage you to waitlist based on my experience.

We just got waitlisted for the second week of Dec (just joined) at 6 months and a few days. But I expected that, and am optimistic we'll eventually get it. In the meanwhile we have an OKW ressie.

I just booked a 1BR for New Year's Eve at the 7 month window. I called day by day :D.

Beach Club was the only place we could get 2 studios and a 2 bedroom for New Years week at 7 months. I was very glad given I had already invited the other 3 families!!

I just received my membership number yesterday and I booked a 1 bedroom at BCV for 5 nights in Sept. I got a Feb use year, so I will have 190 points to bank for next year!!

I was able to book a studio for the last week in July, and a studio (except for New Year's Eve when I could only get a 1 BR) for New year's week at the 7 month window calling day by day. Looking forward to stying there.

At exactly 7 months out, we got a studio for December 21-25!!

We booked a studio this past Monday for 7/2-6 with no problem.
