Hi everyone. Has anyone else who has sailed previously experience difficulty in booking shore excursions on the Disney Magic? Some of my group booked as soon as we received the info, others tried booking last week (more than 6 weeks before our 7/13 cruise) and were told the excursions they wanted were sold out.
Anyone know if they "hold" reservations so that some people can book on board?

Also, has anyone ever been to the St Maarten Zoo? A few of my group have very small children. In St Thomas they will take them to Coral World and then hang out at Coki Beach for awhile. I found the St Maarten Zoo on line, but I haven't found anybody that's ever been there and their email address for questions doesn't work.

Thanks!

I was told by the excursions folks that the more popular excursions are now filling up within the first few hours (especially for the summer cruises). According to the lady I talked to if you want to do the Wild Side for Teens, Dolphin Swim, Parasailing, Banana Boat or Stingray City (and a few others which I can't remember), if you don't book within the first couple of hours you are probably out of luck!

I have no idea whether they "hold" reservations or not. Just thought I'd pass this info on.

Thanks Barbara. We are on the Eastern Caribbean sailing and a lot of the St Thomas and St Maarten excursions are full already. Glad I booked early!!! :0):p
