I have been looking at the menus for the TS and CS restaurants. My kids are pretty adventerous eaters and I would like them to eating some thing besides mac and cheese and chicken fingers for the week. We are doing the dining plan. Is there any way to order a kids portion of an adult meal?

They usually have one meal that has fish or chicken that is served with rice at the TS places.

But to answer the OP's specific question: no, there is no way to order a kid-size portion of an adult entree. You could share your meals with them, and let their credits go to waste.

Nope there is not. MosT TS places have a fish, chicken,or steak option. But it nothing like the adult entrees.

You can ask, but I wouldn't count on it. Keep in mind that the Kids Dining Plan cost is so low that the snack plus half of the CS meal pretty much covers the cost. So that is why so many of their options are so inexpensive. With proper planning, you can stay away from too many mac n cheese's though.

ALL BUFFETS will allow your child to have any of the offerings (not just the kids stuff) - so salads, fruit, seafood, pastas, red meat.....This is a good idea for your family.

Sunshine Seasons, Wolfgang Puck Express, Mainstreet Bakery are some good CS options that offer non-traditional kids meals.

Just stick to a plan that gives your kids more variety. We usually do both - a few choices focused on kids choices and a few that Mom and Dad want (so they'll end up with the usuals a few times on the trip).
