We have reservations at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary one morning when we are on vacation at Disney. We are planning on going to Magic Kingdom that day of the reservation. I was wondering if we can leave our car and use the walkway to and from the Magic Kingdom? Same idea for Epcot and reservations at Captain's Grill at the Yacht and Beach Club...can we leave car and walk to and from Yacht and Beach Club and Epcot. This would seem to save on parking charges and time getting in and out of park. We are not staying at a Disney World resort. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help.I don't think you can park at a resort longer than three or four hours if you aren't a guest...you might get towed. You can always park in the regular lots and use Disney transportation to get where you needed to go.

This is a very "hot" topic so I am going to answer the question and then close the thread.

The answer is no. You can get a 3 hour parking pass at the gate if you are at the resort to eat. But you must park your car at the Theme Parks if you are going to them. Long term parking at the resort is only for Resort Guests. It is possible that you would be towed if you exceeded your 3 hours.
