See Disney Trash Cans Worldwide

On our last trip to Disneyland California, I took particular notice of the many different kinds of trash cans that you'll find throughout the Disneyland Resort. Though some people looked at me goofy, I proceeded to take pictures of every different trash can I could find.

I've posted these pictures to a group on Flickr and not only can you go and see the ones that have been added so far, I'd really like to see any pictures you have that include a trash can from a Disney park or resort. Feel free to join the group and add your pictures to the group.

Yay! I am so excited to find this post! We are going as a family of 4 in August and I thought it would be neat to give my kids DS 9 DD 5 a booklet listing the different trash cans at WDW. I thought they would have fun seeking them out in each area. There are so many fun ones!

Are the ones posted just for DL or WDW too? I think I will call the travel hotline and ask if they have a list of all of them.

Thank you. I pride myself on being Somewhat Goofy. It got to the point of my kids finding all them for me. I can't wait until our next trip when I can take more pictures. Until then, I'll experience them with the help of others.

We'll see how many pictures we can get added before your vacation in August. I want it to be ones from everywhere, but I just started with Disneyland. I'll keep scouring Flickr and spreading the word on Twitter and DisBoards.

On our last WDW trip 15 months ago, my wife and I took the Backstage Magic tour and got to see where all the trash cans are maintained. It's cool in it's own sort of way. For anyone who has the time to do it, I highly recommend the Backstage Magic tour. It's so much fun. I'll post more about that later.

That is hilarious. I love anything Disney, so trash cans do rank right up there.
What other "things" would be fun to photograph? Bathroom doors? LOL.

Lot's of people have this problem. I noticed that I was not the only person taking pictures of garbage cans during my last trip. It made me smile to see other people happily taking pictures of the various garbage cans as we toured the parks.

I guess I am not as weird as I thought - One trip I took pictures of benches everywhere I went! My husband thought I was crazy, but they were exceptional! Especially at AK - they had recycled plastic, wood, stone, etc. I Love Disney Benches, and I am proud of it!! :rotfl::rotfl: Jane

what kind of cameras do you guys use slr or point and shoot. I have a point and shoot camera right now and are thinking about buying a slr but I think it might be to complicated to use and to big to to take to the parks

I still use a point and shoot....mine is a Sony H9...my husband uses a Nikon Coolpix P80....funny thing is some of my best pics are from my older Sony DSC W5...it just doesn't have much zoom and my H9 takes good night shots

It's been awhile since I checked on this thread, but I'm so glad to see that the response if so positive! I had to laugh when I saw your post and show it to my wife. She thought I was nuts for taking all the pics last December, but now my excitement for this "entertainment" has been validated.
