Allium-Decorative onions, ornamental garlic call it whatever you like. These are charming plants wih elegant foliage. Alliums make lovely clumps of flowers.

I have 6 different kinds and love them all. Depending on the variety they flower spring to summer. All of mine are blooming now except 1. They come in many different colors, I have yellow, pinks, purple, blue, white and a lovely nodding creme and pink. The bulbs should be planted in the fall in ordinary soil. They come in many different heights 6-60 inches.

We have wild onions that bloom in our fields during the early spring. They are such a beautiful little plant and always herald the spring. :)
