Hey everyone, I have a time share in which I was able to book a stay for 1 week at SSR. As we are not DVC owners, can we still take advantage of free dining? Also, we have already purchased 4 10-day park tickets and still need to purchase 1 more for our family of 5. Can we purchase 1 10-park ticket to get the free dining in conjunction with our room reservation at SSR? The more that I read these free dining plans the more it make my head spin!!! HELP!!!:confused3

If you are paying cash for the reservation and not renting points , YES.In order to qualify each person of your party has to have a minimum of a 1 day park ticket per person.

We are not paying cash for the reservation, it is already booked through our Interval time share that is not based on points; so no cash and no renting of points.

You would not be eligible for free dining under these circumstances.

A timeshare exchange is treated the same as "staying on points".

You're welcome to add a dining package, but they aren't going to give it to you for free.

No free dining if you are booking through a timeshare exchange. Free dining is only available with a room/tickets package at full price for the room, made through the Walt Disney Travel Company. However, you can pay for the dining plan if you want it.

The free dining offer is not tied to length of park tickets, but to the number of nights in the resort stay, so even if you were eligible it would not matter what length of ticket you bought.
