I didn't see any mention of this elsewhere but one of my blog readers pointed out that the Congaloosh Society is having their annual meeting in September and one of the events is a gala dinner and show at the Adventurers Club. It looks like there is very limited seating and it's selling out fast.

So if you're dying to relive those glory days, check out the details and prices at:

www.congaloosh.org

I note that the event is right on the anniversary of the clubs closing last year. This is also an indication that nothing major is going to happen to AC between now and then.

Actually the prices don't sound terrible considering everything that is included. Now I've just got to work on my schedule to see if I can get out of town then.

I am glad it is filling up so fast. Would love to be there. But $500 per couple is more than I want to spare right now. (Although not saying it is unreasonable.)

Costs waaaaaay too much for me to even consider it.

Thanks for the link. I would definitely go, but I'm away at work that week. :sad2:

unfortunately that is the weekend of oktoberfest in my hometown and I skipped out on it last year to be at PI for the closing so I promised I'd make it this year. Best of luck to everyone going to the club though!

The fact that they could sell 100 spaces to this Hoopla/Gala Dinner event at $225 per person so quickly is a testament to the pent up desire to see The Adventurers Club reopen in some form!

I agree! There's already a wait list for people who couldn't get in to the Hoopla Package, but even the other packge sounds like it will be fun. Several former CMs are participating and supposedly several more are considering doing so. I'm really looking forward to it. :)
