Hello~
I wasn't sure where to post this question, so thought I would try here first.
My question is, how difficult is it to get approved for the Disney Visa? I would like to get the Disney Visa in the near future, but my credit is not the greatest. With the credit situation now, have they been cancelling or reducing the Disney Visa's for folks? Is it harder to get nowadays?
Thanks for your help!

Really you would have to put in an application to find out, I work for Chase and the best way is to apply and see how it turns out.

Not really sure. As mentioned you will have to apply to find out, each person is different. I have not had credit line reduced or anything like that, but it may be dependant on individuals credit ratings and such. We have had ours for years now though (6 years I think - says charter member on it).

The first time I applied my FICA score was 650 and they turned me down that was 4 years ago. I reapplied 2 years ago with my FICA score at 710 & I was approved with a 0% interest rate & it has risen from 9% to 14% in just this last month. I have never been late & ALWAYS pay more than what they ask. They have a rewards program but they eventually expire if not used. For example the 9 rewards I earned in Nov. 2007, will expire in Nov. 2012. Of all my cards & I only possess a few (including AMEX) Disney was harder to please. Good luck

when i first applied for the disney visa it was going to be my first credit card and they denied me because i did not have ANY credit established...so i got a different credit card...built up some credit and then reapplied for the disney visa and then i got it...but that's all i know because i've had it since then and they have raised my credit limit and offered again recently so i don't know how much the current economic conditions are affecting there decisions...

I copied this from the site:
Application Information
Before completing the application, you should be able to answer "Yes" to the following statements by checking the boxes:
Yes, my credit history is clear of bankruptcy.
Yes, my credit history is clear of seriously delinquent accounts.
Yes, I have NOT been denied credit by Chase within the last 6 months.
So if any of these apply to you, then there isn't any sense in applying.

The Disney VISA is great. You should definitely apply! I even got my credit limit raised a few thousand dollars last month!

The Disney Visa was my first (and is my only) credit card. My APR was lowered and limit raised less than a year after I was approved. The APR went back up, but I believe it was company wide. I was fresh outta college with no prior cards when I applied and started with a $6,500 limit.
I pay in full every month, so I haven't had any finance charges. Some did show up, but customer service was quick to fix them. I've had a great experience with it so far.
