AKL bunk beds

My DH, DS and I are going to AKL for the first time next month . Thinking of requesting bunk room. Where are those rooms located? or are they all spread out? We got a great rate on a standard view room.

Also, did anyone else get a WDW survey postcard? We got one and I visited the web site this morning to answer the questions. It was kinda cool.

We had a bunkbed room, 2551. It was savannah view. I believe the bunkbed rooms are spread out throughout the resort. I'd go ahead and request it. My kids just loved them! And if they don't have them in the standard rooms, maybe they'll spread a little pixie dust over you and give you an upgrade!

We had bunkbeds in room 2274 on our trip in May...our girls loved them....they each had their own little light above the headboards and they thought that was very cool! We were booked for a standard view but requested a complimentary upgrade to a savannah view (via a fax three days prior) and were lucky enough to get it!!! It definitely made the trip....waking up to giraffes right outside your window is the best!

We also got the survey postcard...ours was geared only to our stay at AKL though....how did you get a postcard if you haven't even stayed there yet???

We are going in mid August and also received a postcard. It asked questions about when we made our reservations and about the agents we spoke with, etc.

Our postcard was about the code rate and our upcoming visit. Wanted to know if we had changed a previous ressie for our current rate, etc.

I loved the Bunkbeds! We had 5 people on last years trip, only way to accomidate us all was with a deluxe room with bunk beds, regular bed, and day bed. I slept on the top bunk, very comfy and secure.:rolleyes:
