Not sure if this is the right place to post this, and forgive me if I am duplicating info someone else has already given, but just read in the Chicago Sun Times that Bank One is going to offer the first Walt Disney VISA card next year. Credit customers can earn points toward vacations at Disney theme parks, Disney videos and other Disney good. Disney's private label card is going to be replaced by this one. As part of the agreement, VISA is going to create promotions only for the Disney card holders at the parks and Disney Stores. :bounce:

Will this affect Disney's relationship with AMEX?

It doesn't sound like it. The article is mostly based around the fact that this will be the first one for Disney with an affiliation with VISA.
I am already a Bank One VISA customer, so I am sure I will receive info regarding this offer when it becomes available, and I will definately share any info I get with the DIS.

The article said it would be available next year. As soon as I receive the info from Bank One, I will definately post the info for everyone. :)

As a Bank One employee and frequent visitor to Disney Parks, I am really excited about this. Our internal memo says program will be available 1/1/2003.

MikeD- will there be a fee? My friend will like to know what the APR would be, if you happen to know.

Bank One does not usually charge a fee for it's credit cards. The APR probably differs per state. More information when it gets closer to it's release.

I currently hold a Disney Credit Card, so hoefully they will notify me when they change if this is to replace that card.
