I feel like watching The Lion King tonight. I need a Disney fix of some sort. I'd go back and watch our video of the 07 cruise but they are just horrible! I think Chuck fell asleep with the camera running a few times. :goodvibes
Not sure which one I'd pull out. I like Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast along with Lion King. There are a few others I like too. Sometimes I'll just pull a bunch of them out, load the 5-disc player and just play all the good parts and songs.

Hey B, how have you been?
How's the repo planning going?
Will you do the repo in 2011 when they take the Wonder through the Panama Canal?
Still going to see Jay's brother this summer?

Mine are all on VHS!! I have very few Disney movies on DVD. I know, I know...I have to get with the program. My kids always have a problem with what to get me for Christmas and my birthday. I think I should start asking for Disney on DVD. ;)

The nice thing about DVD is how clear they are on the screen. Really nice on the big screen.

Sorry ... Jay's parents called and I thought I should do the polite thing and answer the phone for a change. ;)
Um, let's see ...
I've not done a thing about the 2010 Repo but salt money away. Barely even look at the thread ... I'll probably get more excited as we get closer.
As for this summer ... yes, we're still planning on coming to Beer 'n' Cheese Country in July over the 4th - hope we get a chance to stop by and see some fine friends we've not had the pleasure of cruising with (yet).
We'd love to take a Repo on the Wonder in 2011 if it's at the right time of year. I heard a rumor that it might be early in 2011 which won't work for us mainly because of Jay's work schedule. April is usually the earliest he can take time off from work.
I miss you guys. :grouphug:

Fully understand about not answering the phone when the in-laws call.
I heard the Wonde repo will be in Jan or Feb. Suz already said she'd pull DS out of school for the two weeks. I'm hoping they will have some good deals since most people won't be pulling their kids out for that cruise. Kind of like the repo you're on.
Also forgot, the Wonder repo may only be a few months after your Trans-Atlantic. That would be two long cruises close together.

We'll only sail it to CA. We won't go on a Mexican Riviera cruise. Rather just go to a beach resort in Mexico. Now Hawaii is a different story, but I don't see that happening in 2011.
We are holding on to our 4-night Wonder for Oct 2010 just in case we want sail the Wonder one more time before it leaves FL.

Yeah, we couldn't really comfortably afford the transatlantic repo in September 2010 and then a 2-week PC cruise six months later ... we'd need about a year between cruises just for cash (and vacation ... for me).
I'm trying to plan but not overplan our WDW trip this October. My nephew and his wife are going to join us for five days and they don't believe me when I tell them they need ADRs if they want to be guaranteed a table for dinner.
And they pooped all over my fabulous idea of going to afternoon tea dressed in Halloween costumes before heading to MNSSHP. They don't even want to go to the halloween party. :sad1: What a couple of ruiners! ;):lmao:

We (Chris and I) told Suz and Hazel we will LOOK at the repo. We can do the PC any year on another line for much less. Plus it would have other stops than DCL.

Jay and I have talked about that, too. Royal Carribbean has cheaper PC cruises ... heck, the last time I check Celebrity was less than Disney on a PC. We want to take a PC cruise for sure, but I think ultimately it will be on a different cruise line. A close friend of mine at work raves about Royal Carribbean - that's the only cruiseline she and her husband sail and they love it.

As good of a price that is, I'm still leaning on the 4 night Wonder if we go in 2010. Like I said, one last trip on the Wonder. Plus it works well with school and time off. DS would only miss 3 days for that cruise.

Does Royal go THROUGH the canal or just in, cruise the lake, and then back out?
You should look at some of the Princess PC repos. They start in South America. That would be cool.
As for Royal, I think as DS gets older, they will have more to offer. Just won't have the Disney charm.

Suz said as long as it is dry, she'll be fine. It will still be 10-15 degrees warmer than here, even if it doesn't get back to normal. However, I think a warming trend will come in around then. This is just too long for being below average.

Our first cruise ever was on Carnival. We heard horror stories about what we would experience, but we didn't experience any of it. We had a great time. Now it wasn't as nice as Disney, but could that have had something to do with the fact it was an older ship? I think so - but I also think it serves a different market just like RCCL does. Again - we have had a good time on each line we've sailed, and there is at least one thing on each line we like over the others. Attitude has a lot to do with it!

Jeff do you know how far the Two Palms webcam is from Port Canaveral?
It's quite a bit down from Jetty park if I remember correctly. After the ship sails away, it's about 5 minutes later that you can see her sail past the Two Palms cam.
The nice thing about DVD is how clear they are on the screen. Really nice on the big screen.
You should see them on blu-ray :lovestruc We just bought Pinocchio on BR and wow wow wow!! :worship:
I heard the Wonde repo will be in Jan or Feb. Suz already said she'd pull DS out of school for the two weeks. I'm hoping they will have some good deals since most people won't be pulling their kids out for that cruise. Kind of like the repo you're on.
I read that it will be in the first quarter, no one knows for sure which month.
I've been wanting to go on a PC repo since the very first one, so I am going to try my hardest to get us on that sailing ::yes:: Kira will be a good age for it and it won't be in Rob's busy DJ season, so I am really hoping to go :cloud9:
I hope the prices are reasonable since a lot of people will be saving their pennies for the Dream. I want to sail on the Dream too but not until all the kinks have been worked out ;)

At lunch today I was telling Suz about the eggs my dad hand painted himself when Chuck and I got married. These are real egg shells. He poked holes in the top and bottom and blew out the contents without breaking any of the shells. Then he would paint them. Here are mine:

That toy had 4 squeekers in it at one time. He ripped it apart trying to find out where the noise was coming from. I thought he found them all so I stitched it back up. There was one more left in his head but it didn't squeek as well. Now everytime the dog finds the squeeker, either Chuck or I will yell out "OUCH"! Cabo will stop immediately and lay down with the toy instead. :lmao::lmao::lmao: Sucker.

Thanks Cass. He made a cradle for Kristin when she was born too and hand painted it all. We lost it when our home was flooded out though. We also lost the kids dresser which my dad also made and painted. He did some beautiful work. It's so sad now to see how his hands don't work anymore. :sad1:

He used to weave baskets too so our kids always received home made Easter baskets every year. Because he was so talented with that he would constantly french braid Kristin's hair but not in the usual way. He would braid from side to side (ear to ear) with different colored ribbons woven within.
When Kristin played sports in grade school and the early part of high school her team-mates would line up on the bleachers and my dad would braid all their hair for them. Everyone had a different look!! Everybody loved Kristin's Opa!!

I want to try Carnival once just to try it. Our first cruise was on RCCL, but was on their smallest ship...a very small one at that. I would also like to try one of their larger ships to see what the experience is like.
I think after this cruise, we are going to go to WDW for a nice long vacation...at least 7 days.
My first cruise was with Carnival, and then Sean and I took 2 others out of New Orleans on Carnival. The ships are bright, smoky around the casino, and you notice more people who are shnockered. But Adults (even pooh sized ones like me) can ride the slides! The dining rooms are multilevel since that is the only one you go to. Not the worst experience of my life. Lets just say when Sean went on the Wonder for the first time, my second, as soon as he hit the atrium he looked at me and said;"We are never sailing another cruise line ever again"
I want to sail one of RCCL's mega ships at least once. We are happy though that the Wonder is coming out this way, just not thrilled with the itinerary, like the caribbean much better.

Just boiled eggs here, even though the boys are 20 & 23 they still enjoy it, or at least fake it for mom.
I hope my kids amuse me when they are older. I love coloring eggs.

It's quite a bit down from Jetty park if I remember correctly. After the ship sails away, it's about 5 minutes later that you can see her sail past the Two Palms cam.
You should see them on blu-ray :lovestruc We just bought Pinocchio on BR and wow wow wow!! :worship:
I read that it will be in the first quarter, no one knows for sure which month.
I've been wanting to go on a PC repo since the very first one, so I am going to try my hardest to get us on that sailing ::yes:: Kira will be a good age for it and it won't be in Rob's busy DJ season, so I am really hoping to go :cloud9:
I hope the prices are reasonable since a lot of people will be saving their pennies for the Dream. I want to sail on the Dream too but not until all the kinks have been worked out ;)

Bryan joined the three of us last evening for dinner at Old Country Buffet, then the four of us went to see the Easter Passion Play at our church. Our church is having 5 services this weekend, we went to the 6:30 service and by the time we got there at 6pm we had to go and sit in the overflow section of the new Connection Center that was just finished being built last week. We were told the 2:30pm service yesterday had over 1800 people in attendance and probably that many at the 6:30 service. The services today are 8:30, 10:30 and 12:30. Everyone in the play did an outstanding job.
This morning, Lina is attending Mass with Bryan and his parents at their church. Lina will be joining them for dinner this evening as well.
Have a Blessed Day Everyone!!! :wave2:

I'm surprising Hazel this morning.....I just made a dozen Deviled Eggs to go with our dinner this afternoon. The one advantage of going to church last night, is that she can sleep in this morning. I have to get Lina up at 8:30 so she can start getting ready, I have to drop her off at Bryan's by 10:15 this morning. This SHOULD be FUN!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've been invited to a re-union where I used to work many years ago. I cant decide if I want to go or not:rolleyes1
I was thin and young back then, I dont want to walk in and people not recognise me or think "geez, she turned out to be a real porker":rolleyes1
I know it sounds awfully vain, but..........:rolleyes1
I'm 30+ pounds heavier than when I worked there, and 20 years older:rolleyes1...I'm sure most of the others have aged also, but I'm not happy with myself at the moment... my hair is a mess because I'm trying to grow it and I'm fat:sad2:
Theres several people I'd like to see who I know are going, but theres one person I do NOT want to associate with (for very good reasons which I wont go into).
Advice? opinions?:confused3
Should I or shouldn't I?
Its really local so the cost isnt an issue. I just dont know if I'm brave (or stupid) enough. Neil cant make it because he's at cub camp with Ellis that weekend, so I'd be on my own in the house all evening if I didnt go, so its not like I have anything else planned for that weekend.

Good question!
I'd be 50/50 myself.
But if there are people you'd really like to see you should go and then can you just try to avoid the other person?
Or at worst case scenario just smile say hello then walk away?
I wouldn't worry about the looks/weight, I'm sure it's happened to most of them also.
And I've seen you many times and I think you look great!

I've been to high school reunions, college reunions, church reunions, etc.. the good thing is you can always leave if you aren't comfortable, having a good time, etc... I was sorely disappointed at my high school reunions - just amazing how shallow some people stay. I have enjoyed college but also not. Church reunions were good. It's so simple to just leave. You're gorgeous - nobody from 20 years ago isn't going to show age, but you will WOW them if you go!

It is only about 5 minutes from my house so you're right, I could leave easily if I felt uncomfortable being around this person. :thumbsup2
Maybe I will go.
I have contacted the person organising and told them I'm not sure whether I can make it yet, I figured that would give me a couple of weeks to see how I feel.
Thank you for your advice:hug:..I would normally avoid these sort of events, but I did have a lot of fun with most of this group of people years ago, maybe I should be brave and go for an hour or so.

I feel like watching The Lion King tonight. I need a Disney fix of some sort. I'd go back and watch our video of the 07 cruise but they are just horrible! I think Chuck fll asleep with the camera running a few times. :goodvibes
I had a Disney fix yesterday. Kristen, Asiah and I went to Disney on Ice. It was great. We had fantastic seats. Kristen worked for a guy last Thursday night so He gave her the tickets. Elijah said I would enjoy it better than him so He gave me his ticket. He was probably right. No Pluto his favorite character. He went bowling with Erika and Tiffany. He had a great time. After everyone was finished we ended up back at my house. They played basketball and soccer out in the front yard while Walt and I made supper. Walt made a rib roast and mashed potatoes and I made a salad, corn, lima beans and peas. Kristen brought over some flaky rolls and Erika made a corn dip. Yummy!!!!! After we cleaned up they played more ball. Once it got dark they came in and we had a bowling tournament. It was fun. Elijah won with 237 his top score. I came in second. (227) Then we played Think fast a disney game for Wi. It was okay. They left around midnite and I went to bed. Now they are over their dad's house for lunch. Erika and Tiffany will leave to go back to Dallas in a few hours. She left her dog at Kristen's (my other dd) here for awhile.
Erika has a few trips planned for the next couple months so Kris said to leave her dog here so she would not have to go to the kennel. Now I will have two dogs to walk again. :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1: Diane

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a342/cntkg1/EasterEggs001.jpg
That toy had 4 squeekers in it at one time. He ripped it apart trying to find out where the noise was coming from. I thought he found them all so I stitched it back up. There was one more left in his head but it didn't squeek as well. Now everytime the dog finds the squeeker, either Chuck or I will yell out "OUCH"! Cabo will stop immediately and lay down with the toy instead. :lmao::lmao::lmao: Sucker.
My grandkids dog Bubbah rips apart all dog toys. He gets all the squeakers out. He has one he ripped apart that is in really sad shape. Adri my dd's dog does not chew his toys. He carries them around and plays with them. Isn't that funny how dogs are so different. I guess just like kids. Diane

I went to a school reunion just after giving birth to Olivia, i did fell uncomfortable with my weight as i had put on 3 stone with Olivia and was always skinny at school.
Anyway everybody had changed in different ways, fat, thin, bald etc. I had such a good time though. Its the person within they are interested in.
Just go for a little while and see how you feel.

There my lecture over for today.;)
Thanks ladies:hug:
I have been sent the facebook link and quite a few have posted their photos - you're right Cath! - bald, fat, thin, although I do believe that one of the girls has had some seriously large implants by the look of her photos!:rolleyes1

I know! - I couldnt believe it when I started looking at the price. As I said, there have been several newer models released since that came out, higher pixel etc.
14 lb to a stone. Realistically I hope to lose a stone:rolleyes1, Ideally it would be 3 stone...but that aint ever gonna happen:rolleyes:
So that would be 42 lbs. I guess. Not unattainable.

To everyone who have lost weight congrats!!
I feel a little silly, I am counting down the pounds until I qualify for my surgery. Yes that's right you have to LOSE weight to have weight loss surgery!:confused3 Well actually I understand why,but anyhoo.....I have to lose 27lbs total, so far I have lost 17 of those. Now I am getting into the area where my body likes to settle so I have to kick it up a notch. Want to qualify by June, but it may still be another 6 months before the procedure.
Sounds like you're successfully on your way to a permanent weight loss. Good for you!!!
We won't even drive down the day of, I worry over car trouble, traffic jams, etc. I would be too nervous. It's about 7 hours from here with out any long stops.
I second that motion!!!!!
Yes, any airline. You will enter the airline and flight number to track it.
The last site listed is good to see ALL flights that are coming into an airport. You can then select any flight and track it.
Have fun with it, I do. :thumbsup2
Thanks!
Who knows? Maybe there will be KK3/BOB2 reunion cruise on the Wonder in 2011.:yay:
Sounds like a good idea.
We miss you too B.
Jan & Feb are better times to get away from cold weather than Oct., other than worrying about flight delays due to storms.

I've been invited to a re-union where I used to work many years ago. I cant decide if I want to go or not:rolleyes1

I've been in those same shoes - sometimes I've gone, others not. But as everyone has said, nobody's going to look like they did 20 years ago so don't worry about that.

Good morning and Happy Easter all,
Can some on please post a link to you weight loss site? I have got to get back on track!!
Thank you.
Enjoy your frinds & family today. I am cooking for 10!
The weight loss table we have is on the Yahoo site. It's a private site that you need an invite to from a moderator. We had one for the KK1 cruise and then started a BOB one about 18 months ago. I can't remember who are moderators anymore. I will try to find out and get you an invite ;)
It's just a table where we track our exercise every day :thumbsup2
