I did receive some good news last week - they have done some restructuring at our company, but they're done for now and I'm still here! So, I'm as "safe" at my job as anyone can be - and it looks like you'll have to put up with me on the BOB cruise after all!

One last post - Excellent news Jen.

I like this idea...or maybe assign "days" so we don't get all our DIStag goodies the first day, but throughout the week?

Maybe limit it to distributing 3 or 4 a day:confused3

I've already told him he's getting on the scale when he's at my house. I won't be laughing because I'll be in my serious mode counting my winnings.

Hey Jeff, question about those flight trackers you posted...my brother left Heathrow this morning and I can't track it on any of the ones you posted :sad2: It just keeps saying No take off info, please call airline :confused3 Maybe I am doing something wrong???? :guilty:

Check the airline's website first to get the flight number and to show that they did take off. Then put it in the tracking systems.

What airport are they flying into? What airline and flight number are they on? You can PM or email me if you don't want to list that here.

Nancy, thanks for asking about Rob's surgery. I keep thinking that I've posted on the boards when I've only emailed....

The surgery is not serious. It's called RPK or PRK, not sure. I think it is similar to Lasik. He's been on the waitlist for well over a year, so when they called to say it's his turn, he has to say yes. He had asked them to reschedule once before because it conflicted with our vacation this June, but when they gave him a 2nd date, he took it for fear that he would go to the bottom of the list or taken off all together. He'll be having it done at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland, right outside of DC.

The bad part is that he will have to miss the dismeet we're trying to plan. Oh well, I'll just have to eat enough seafood for him.;)

Here's one of the bracelets I ordered from Lori. This one was for a Cancer Relay she was involved in and mine represented Melanoma. She made mine with more black beads to represent the cancer awareness color for melanoma. Kristin's had more pink for Jesse's Aunt Suzi who is on her third round of breast cancer and Stacy's had more red for her Grandma who died of colon cancer.

I love mine and so do the girls. I wear mine just about every day and have gotten sooo many compliments already. It really is much prettier than the picture.

So is everyone happy doing tag without an order list?

We'll just have a list of taggers and their cabin numbers and we tag a few each day (maybe 3 or 4) to spread it over a few days - I know what Ellis and I are like otherwise, we'll want to do them all on day 1:lmao:

But let's at least all try to agree not to particularly start with the person who is listed first on the list. Otherwise, that BOBer will get all his tags in the first couple days.

Or....Maybe Karen and Jen could mix up the lists a little too? Re-arrange the names a bit between the lists that are handed out??

So is everyone happy doing tag without an order list?

We'll just have a list of taggers and their cabin numbers and we tag a few each day (maybe 3 or 4) to spread it over a few days - I know what Ellis and I are like otherwise, we'll want to do them all on day 1:lmao:

Sounds good to me:thumbsup2:banana:

But let's at least all to agree not to particularly start with the person who is listed first on the list. Otherwise, that BOBer will get all his tags in the first couple days.

Or....Maybe Karen and Jen could mix up the lists a little too? Re-arrange the names a bit between the lists that are handed out??

Just a thought.:confused3

heehee...I know, I'd want to deliver all mine on the first day too!

So, we have at least 2 options...deliver only a few each day, OR, assign a delivery day to each person (for example, Karen and MG deliver on Monday, Jen and Mike/Robin deliver on Tuesday, etc.)

OR, we could just let people deliver when they want....thoughts? Opinions?

Making different versions of the list would be easy too - good idea Nancy!

I have to go back to my Dr. tomorrow, my blood pressure has been up high.
She put me on diuretic pills to lower it but in the past few days my blood pressure has still been around 150's/100's.

So much for those pills.

So while she finds a better drug for me I am going to insist that this new one won't say:

avoid alcohol

Stay out of the sun

I decided to print out our BOB logos and put them inside the same pin. Now I have my BOB logo pins and my mnsshp pins all in one. I just have to switch the logos around !!! Whoo hooo! :woohoo: I saved myself a few bucks with buying a separate t-shirt for each of us and ironing on the transfers. I'll use those for something else now.

I still wear my KK shirt every now and then but the kids don't. Any one else still wear theirs or shirts from any other cruise you've been on? :)

ok, you asked for it....

robin was in a baton twirling corp during school.
my sis joined the corp. she was about 6 years younger that robin. my mom use to take her to weekly classes. robin was a "leader" i think my sis looked up to her. my mom would tell my older brother "theres a great girl i want you to meet."
well one day, after a baton parade, mom grabbed robin and introduced her to my brother and i was watching from the backround.(i was 16) it was about 90 degrees out, the girls had just marched in a parade and were all sweaty. but
WOW!!! i fell in love right away.:cutie::hug:

my mom got robins phone number and tried to get my brother to call her for months.(he was 17 1/2, closer to robins age) but he was very shy.
after a while my mom said something to me about calling her.:rolleyes1
not that i needed any prodding, but my mom said to me..."mike, she's got big B@@Bs.:lmao::rotfl2:
well i called and we hit it right off right away and the rest is history.

LOL! My kids don't eat candy. Well, my own don't. The other two love it. They got candy in their baskets. In their eggs they get cash.

I run the hunt differently every year. One year I hide 100 eggs with money in each one and no one can quit until they are all found.

Another time I hide one egg for each kid. They know the color they have to look for and I make a scavenger hunt out of it. This year their first hint was:
"Your Favorite Things". They had to think of something that was a fav of theirs. Kristin loves shopping so she was rummaging through shopping bags. Jesse loves shoes so he was looking through all the shoes in the house....etc.

The only person who got his hint right on the first try was Tony but he was the last one to find his egg.

Cash is handed out on a graduated scale according to who found theirs first, second, third and fourth.

This years locations were:
Kristin: in our dog's toy bucket.
Jesse: In an ESPN beer mug (thanks afeg)
Stacy: Taped to a VHS tape of The Wizard of Oz
Tony: In our office amongst the office supplies. (His favorite store is Office Max. :rotfl2:)

We are on a waitlist for BLT but we don't mind giving you guys a ride to AKV. Not exactly sure how we are gonna fit everything in the van though. :scared: Sean & Bernie are picking up a van from Avis, same as us. Maybe we can squeeze the luggage in one vehicle and you guys in another?

I have a fav dessert that I've been having lately.

A mini graham cracker pie crust, lemon ff yogurt and a dab of ff cool whip. I just love it. Takes like a cheap lemon meringue pie. ;)

I also make the same with ff chocolate pudding. YUMMO!
