I have just made my first name fill using Microsoft Word and do not know how to save it. This will probably sound like a very dumb question, but I am confused. I want to save it as "JPEG" and do not see that option. How do I do this?

this will not be much help but you will have to copy and paste the image into another program I believe. I copy and paste to my photo program but I'm sure others will be able to tell you more!

You can't save it as a JPEG when you are in word. If you are wanting to design something and save it as a JPEG you will need to use another program like Photoshop Elements, etc.

I have Corel Paint Shop and I cannot open the file here in order to save it as JPEG. This is the kind of stuff that makes me want to pull my hair out. Saving... should be easy, but it turns very frustrating.

With PaintShop, you should have an option to capture images from other applications.

If I am able to do this I don't know how.

In my version of PaintShop, I have a 'Capture' menu. Under that is 'Setup' and 'Start'. In 'Setup', you tell it if you want to capture an Area, Full Screen, Client Area, Window or Object. The easiest is to capture the Full Screen, then select the part of that window and 'Clip to Selection'.

The easiest way to do it, without additional software, is to copy the image from the word document as described above.

Then use Paint (not paintshop). If you are using Windows XP, click on Start, All Programs, Accessories, Paint.

Once the Paint program opens, you can go to Edit, Paste (or simply click CNTRL-V)

Then save the file in any format you choose.

Hope that helped!
