Hi All,

I have what seems to be a simple question for which I cannont seem to find the answer. DW & I have DVC AP's currently (Premium AP's, as we got them when PI was still open), and with the closing of PI, we feel no need to renew at the Premium level. I was wondering if we would be able to get the DVC Renewal rate for a regular AP if we were to downgrade. I know it seems like an odd question and the answer would be yes, but I cannot find the answer on any thread relating to AP renewal. Thanks in advance!!!

I've downgraded to a regular AP in the past.

Yes, you can get the DVC renewal price on a standard AP, even if you currently have a Premium AP.

I have successfully renewed three annual passes with the DVC discount in the last three months, after having premium annual passes in the past. I was still given the DVC discount. When I told the agent why I was downgrading, she said a lot of people had been doing the same thing.
