Power Lift Chair rental

Hi - I was wondering if anyone has rented a power lift chair for use at one of the WDW resorts? My mother has decided to come along on our trip but since she has a broken arm she finds it more comfortable to sleep in a reclining chair and also needs the assistance of the lift to stand.

I have contacted a company that says they can do this but I thought I'd check and see if anyone on the boards had actually rented one. The company also rents hospital beds too so if someone did that feedback on how the service worked would be greatly appreciated! ie - any problems with delivery or pickup etc.?

No one has posted about renting one lately, but I know people have rented both in the past from the full service medical companies listed in post #2 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread.

The companies coordinate with Housekeeping for delivery.

You could also try calling Special Reservations - the phone number is listed in the disABILITIES FAQs thread in the post about resorts.
