I heard a rumor that Six Flags was going to file bankruptcy.

Anyone have any info on this rumor? :confused3

I am still getting emails from the local Six Flags about opening day and stuff like that, so who knows?

There's WAY too much in all of the parks, from landscaping to all the rides and technology and such to just have them all bulldozed down...

There's too much potential profit still to be made. Building theme parks takes a long time, it wouldn't make sense just to 'chuck' them all.

If I had to guess, if the bankruptcy occurs, they will be bought out by another corporation, most likely from another country.
