All you can eat picnic?

Hi, has anyone ever done the all you can eat picnic thing at Sea World? We are going in June and my DH loves to eat so I thought this might be nice and a change from all the other things we will be doing for 5 days at universal. Any input would be much appreciated.

We're going to the picnic on 4/8/09 & would love any input as well. My DH loves barbecue & all you can eat. So p-l-e-a-s-e anyone done this ?? Thanks ! :grouphug:

Yeah the price seems amazingly good so I was just wondering if we would get there and be eating crappy BBQ from a tub sitting on the ground LOL!

Are you talking about Bud n BBQ? I thought I read that ends in spring & not available over the summer. Am I wrong? If so, we might be interested in that. When? Where? Price? Offerings?

Straight from the sea world site it says all you care to eat family picnic between 1130am and 6pm. 14.95 adults 8.95 children
Offerings are hot dogs, grilled burgers, BBQ chicken,corn on cob, some other veggies, potato salad and such picnic foods. There is no seasonal information stated so I am assuming that it is going on all summer but that is why I was wondering if anyone had done it.

It's not an all summer thing. They typically only do this during very busy times. From the website, I see that they are only advance selling for the two weeks around Easter. I really wish that they would offer this more often, as it's a good deal and the food is good. They did have it last year during the week of Memorial day.

I did the BUD n BBQ buffet the day Hall and Oates were playing,and this appears to be the same thing except without the concert or that it doesn't have ribs,pulled pork or the bbq salmon on the menu like they did at BUD n BBQ.The website doesn't really say if it's daily but I'm glad they have another one of these all you can eat buffets,cause all I kept saying at BUD n BBQ was how I'll be there next year.I paid $13.95 for the BUD n BBQ buffet with my platinum passport.

Thanks for the replies guys. Since we are going first week of June maybe I should just check back closer to time and see if they are offering it then. Hopefully so because it looks like a good deal especially for DH who really likes to eat.

I wish I knew when it ended but they seem to be short on details. From the website it does not seem to have a specific date but who knows.

Watch for other food deals for the summer, too. Seems like I remember a deal where you could eat a CS meal, get snacks and drinks for something like $25 a day last summer. I don't usually go to the park during the summer because of the heat-except to do the night shows at least once- but I seem to remember something like that being offered. Not sure if it was a success so don't know if it will be offered again.
