Hi Everyone. I just love this board everyone is great and I am getting so many ideas already!

My name is Andrea and my DF's name is Randy. I met him 6 years ago when we both worked at a restaurant. I had to train him after working there for 3 years and found out they started him making more then me an hour. So I was not too happy the first day we met. But soon later we started to date he is a couple years older then me and was in college at the time. We went to my high school prom together and have now been together for 6 years. We have decided to get married and knew right away Disney was the place to do it. My family has been to Disney ever since I was young. My father loves Disney as well and one of my favorite things to do with him was planning our Disney trips. Just a few months after dating my df went on a family Disney trip with me and we have been going when ever we can ever since.

Next week I am going to be in Disney and I am going to be able to look at a few places. I really want to do the California grill but wish I could personalize the menu but I guess I have to decide what’s more important.

How do you put pictures on here all i can find is something that says the website what if its not off a website.

Well here are some of the dresses I am loooking at!!!! I just dont know what to choose. I am having a small wedding is Disney with around 30 people and then having a larger reception at home once we get back. So i will be wearing my dress twice so it has to be something I am comfortable in. It will also be July and really hot.

I LOVE the disney dresses. I drove 4 hours to try on one of the Belle ones... However when I was there I saw the white Giselle one that you have pictured. I really really liked it. If I had more time I would have tried it on. I would go with that one as a first choice.

YAY!!! I haven't seen anyone else on this board with disney dresses. Its so weird one would think that everyone would want one just because of the label.

Anway just one little secret I learned. Once you decide which dress you want and the size you need call around to all of the stores and check ebay. Usually if someone has the dress in stock its soooooo much cheaper then ordering it and you get it so much faster. I couldn't find my dress in my size/color anywhere and wanted to try it on first so I kept shopping around. I ended up getting mine from a bridal store in CA new with tags for 80% off. It was the greatest bargain of the century.

So what are you looking at other than the California Grill? My feelings are that the view of the fireworks makes up for the lack of menu choice - but thats just me. I am excited we are doing a first night dinner there.

if you take a peek at my pj- i took some photos of the view from the napa room at california grill- we was told this had the best view of the park- but i never saw the view from the restruant or the sonoma room- the sonoma room just looks out into the lakes for miles.

Hi I love all your dresses - I love those disney dresses sadly I've never found anywhere in the UK that stocks them. The second one is a little bit simmilar to my dress as it has flowers petals on the top and bottom :goodvibes

I have not had a chance to try on the dresses yet but I am planning on doing that soon! So far the Giselle is my first choice. Thanks for the tips on finding it cheaper. 80% off that's amazing!! So I have found two save the dates I love I might find a way to use both.

First is an idea I am stealing from Bride-to-be. She has pictures in her PJ. Its so cute its a stuff mickey that when u squeeze him he talks about your wedding!!!

Second thing i just found is a flip book. I know I had a few of these from the disney store when i was younger and you can make your own. I was going to make one with my DF and I holding cards that show our wedding and and stuff.
Here is the website

I like them both so much i might have to do both. Ill think of some way to make them link together. Or maybe i can use the flip book as a thank you. I guess ill have to think about it.

Here are my center pieces. I love the Castles and wanted a way to include them in my decor. So I found these. I am going to put candles and rose petals around them to.

I am so glad you like my mickeys! I was telling Shelley from Impressions that the ultimate thing to do would be to have multiple characters and have them carry on a conversation. I wish I had had more time to explore that idea.

Anyhoo I also love the flip book! If I had known about it I would have done it too. I def think you should combine both of them. Have all of your details of your wedding on the back of the flip book or last page or something and use it as the save the date card.

I LOVE your center piece ideas. If we go with a castle ceremony I think that would be perfect - we could have each table themed after a different disney princess! Do you know if they make more then just the three? Even though hong kong looks the same as disneyland and tokyo is the same as WDW they are all slightly different. It would be so great if they had different ones for each..... Otherwise what do you do on the other tables? Do you just have a bunch of the castles that are the same?

I am going to have to go look at the jim shore website...

The one castle looks slightly familiar :goodvibes Sorry for the hijack; I just fell in love with it when I saw it at the MK during our planning session trip and had to buy it. I knew about the one for Disneyland, but not about Beauty & the Beast. I think I might need to have DH start a collection for me.

That would be so cool! I am so bad with technology though i do not think i could ever figure that out. From what i have found there are only three castles but the Beauty and the Beast one came out not to long ago so maybe hopefully he will come out with more. Right now I will have to have two of each for six tables. But jim shore has a lot of cool stuff he has a Cinderella carriage I may have to get it to put some where.

That is so funny because I have looked at your pictures and I am embarrassed to admit this I thought I was another cake. I said to myself that cake must have cost a lot to cut it out to look like the castle.lol... It looks greats with your real cakes though!! I am waiting to get my Cinderella castle it in the mail I cant wait for it it look so pretty.

I am leaving for DISNEY WORLD tomorrow!!!! I am going to meet with the wedding consultant on Wednesday and see some ideas for the wedding reception sites. I really want it at the California Grill but I guess I should have a back up just in cause. Where is a good place in the gf to have a small reception. There is not going to be any dancing or anything. Just a cocktail hour then dinner then cake with Mickey and Minnie. Any other suggestions for things I should ask her to show me? My wedding is not till next summer but i was going to be in disney so i figured i might as well check out some reception sites. I can't wait!!!

I had a lot of people that thought the castle was made out of chocolate or something too. Actually I was originally going to have the white chocolate one, but the Jim Shore one ended up being only $10 more. I would check out some of the shops at Magic Kingdom on Main Street for more Jim Shore. I found my castle originally in the one where there is jewelry on the same side as the candy shop and bakery :goodvibes

Have fun at Disney. I would suggest checking out White Hall at GF; I've seen a lot of smaller weddings here.

I am back from Disney and the warm weather. The day I left for Disney it was snowing in PA!! But anyway I got to talk to my consultant Diane. I saw the wp. I loved it!! I would love to have an outside wedding but i do not trust the weather. So the wp is the next best thing. Also I saw two locations for my dinner. One was the Califonia Grill Napa room. I really liked it. I love that you can see the castle from it and even walk outside. Then i looked at the white hall room that was also great but I think I will be going with the CG. I wish they were more flexible with the menue. I did eat dinner at the CG one night to see how the food was. It was really good! Also my consultant said i can reserve the room one year in advance since its not a ball room. That makes me really happy:woohoo:I also found more Jim shore things on main street. So over all it was a productive trip.

Yes I have Diane Mahoney-Brown!!! She is amazing. I am glad to be working with her. Here are some ideas I want to do for my wedding.

First of all I want to have Mouse Ears For all the guest with there names on them i love the pictures other brides have on here with all thier guest wearing the mouse ears. I will also use it as thier place card for were they sit.
http://www.laughingplacestore.com/images/products/3012L.jpg

I also want to have a caricature artist there to draw peoples pictures. I think this will be something fun for everyone to do.
http://www.seaworldadventurepark.info/themepark/images/seaworld-caricature-artist.jpg

I also saw another Bride had the barbershop quartet sing at thier reception. I would love to do this. I still have to get ore info on it but hopefully it will work out.

Thanks. I do not have a large budget but I am having a small wedding and I am trying to do things that I can only do at a Disney Wedding. So I will not be having lots of flowers or spending tons on food.

figmentfan814 i just looked through your PJ. I am getting all kinds of wedding ideas from it. Your wedding was wonderful!!!! Hope you dont mind if i steal a few of your ideas. I am going to try to make my own mickey rice crisy treats soon!

My Dad told me if we are having a Disney wedding Mickey and Minnie will have to come. My brother is a huge Goofy fan and wants to pay the extra amount to have him there to. So there should be enough going on to keep everyone entertained because there will not be any dancing. I am having a reception in my home town to so the dancing will take place then.

Congrats on the engagement..and poop for the higher salary of Randy, haha. I love all those Disney dresses. I'd love to get one, but I'd have to get a Snow White and none of them were my favorite...I went with David's Bridals. I love the castle center pieces. I totally want to steal Figment Fan's use of snow globes, but I like the castles too.

The flipbooks are cool...they don't work for me though because I'm a lefty and I can never do it righty!!

Congrats on looking at venues. I want to do a planning session to badly. Are you going to do another one later on as well?

I have also been looking at flowers. I think I have decided to go with silk. This way I can have flowers in Florida and my reception I am having at home. They are cheaper then getting real ones through Disney too. I think I am going to order then through hibiscusflorals.com

My theme for my reception at home is a tropical one so I think these flowers will work out great. Orange my not work the best with my center pieces for Disney but ill figure something out I think maybe put orange rose petals around then with candles.

Also I am having a lot of luck with my guest being excited about a destination wedding. I have asked 16 so far and 14 are coming for sure and the other two are thinking about it. One of my friends got married a couple of years ago and wanted to get married on a cruise ship. She ended up not doing this and says she regrets it. So I am happy that no one has seemed upset about it.

I actually got the castle idea from seeing Figment Fan's use of snow globes. I was looking for snow globes to buy and came across these castles turns out she had one of the castles at her wedding to lol. My parents go to Florida all the time and they always go in February so i am hoping to tag a long next febuary to have another planning session. But I am looking for a new job now so hopefully Ill find a place that will let me go.

OK I posted another post about this but i thought i would put it in here as well. What do you all think I should do about timing my wedding consultant says to get married at the wedding pavilion at the 5:00 time and then a 20 minute ceremony then be to the Reception at 6:00. That's only like 40 minutes to take pictures. I want to take lots and maybe even go to a couple hotels before to take pictures. Do you think it would be to long to get married at the 2 ceremony or it may be 2:30? I can not start the reception till 6 at the California Grill. I am having a small ceremony and I do not think it will bother the few people who will be there to wait till from 3 to 6. I mean if I am going to Disney to get married I might as well take tons of pictures right?

OK so here is what I think I have decided to do the ceremony at 5 and not show up to the California Grill till closer to 7 but have the room ready and open at 6 so the few guest who are not in the wedding party can go hang out their if they want and they can also look around the Contemporary hotel too. Hopefully that will work out ok.

My future sister in law has a step daughter. She was very excited about bringing her to Disney for the first time but the girl’s biological mother will not let her come. She is 11 and the mother says it’s too far for her and what if something happens. The girls’ father will be there!!! But I do understand it’s her daughter I just feel bad because the girl will most likely not have another chance to go to Disney. Which I think every child who can go should go. THe girl didn’t even know what exactly Disney was. My FSIL had to go online and show her what Disney is. What child does not know what Disney is? I just hope its not jealousy that is keeping the mother from letting her go.

Ever since I first saw these cakes I have wanted to use them. I love the idea of everyone getting their own cake. I will have a small cake for DF and me to cut to. I think I am going to order an extra one for us to have on our one year like other people have the top of their cake. They are $22 each but I have to have them!!!!!! My wedding colors are orange and blue so I may get just orange or blue and orange. I wish I could get a Mad Hatter Cake to but I guess I cant have everything.

I bought tons of Disney stickers for scrap booking to I got them for 2.50 to .49!!! So I made the cards yesterday.

The mini-cakes are cute! Are they actually cheaper than a 2 tier mad hatter- I like it's like $500. I think the mini-cakes are cuter. What flavors can you get?

That is so cute having your brother as man of honor!! And yeah I don't think a princes card will work for him..lol

Depending on how many people end up coming to the wedding the mini cakes might end up being a little more but I have to have them. If 30 people come and they are $22= $660 but I have to have them. I do not know about the flavors yet I am guessing they will do almost any flavor but I do not know for sure.

So I have not written anything about my home reception yet so I thought i would. I am going to have it a few weeks after Florida that way I can make a slide show of pictures from Florida to show everyone. The theme is tropical. I am going to play steel drum music at the cocktail hour and just make it a relaxing fun day. The colors are blue and Orange.

Here is what i have gotten so far for it.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13090.jpg

I am going to have a bucket full or orange and blue flip flops so people can dance all night even if the shoes they can with hurt their feet.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13093.jpg

I am going to hang paper lanterns from the ceiling.

These are the favors only $1 each
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13091.jpg

I am also going to have a candy Bar

I love the colors for your at-home reception. We had a candy bar at ours too and our guests loved it! :thumbsup2

I also love the cute cards you made for your bridal party.

I had fallen in love with some of the small cakes too, but they weren't practical for the group size we had for our wedding. (at least budget wise) I would definitely try them before you make a final decision, our coordinator told us that they are sometimes really dry. I don't know if that's true because we never ended up trying them. What a great idea to get an extra to save for your anniversary!

Wow your candy bar picture looks great.

I have to ask - do you mind if I steal your princess card idea? I have been fretting about flower girl cards for so long and those would be perfect!!! I have seen the gold belle one many times and loved it and never knew quite what to do with it.

I really like the little mickey cakes - but did you know they also have miniature mad hatter cakes? Maybe you could get a little mad hatter cake to save.

As for the difficult mom - I think she has to be jealous. I think thats the only reason why anyone would say no. If the dad brought it up in court I think he would surely win. What judge is going to say a dad can't take his little girl to disney? Good luck. If it were me and the mom firmly said no I would contact her and make her feel soo unbelieveably guilty.

OK so I have decided I really want to have tea party. At first I was fine with just going to the Garden Tea room but then I have seen so many fun things I can do with a mad hatter tea party. I am trying to see what the food and bev. minimum may be for the white hall room. It might be 1,500 in that case it will not work. There will only be 15 of us and that's way to much food. If it is just an event minimum of that I can have Alice or the mad hatter come and that would work out great.
I was thinking for an alternative I could just have a mad hatter bridal shower at home and just go to the tea room while in Disney.

Here are some Pics i found for inspiration i do not remember where I got them so i hope people don't care i am using their pics.

This cake would be way to big but its my wedding colors!!

So I have not listed my bridesmaids yet. I am going to have 6 which sounds weird because I am only having a 30 at my wedding but whatever.

Tara- MOH friends since grade school she also loves Disney so that will help with planning

Rae- we have been friends since grade school as well

Melissa- Friend since grade school and also my 4th cousin she is my dads cousins kids kids. lol if that makes any sense. Basically her grandpa and my dad are first cousins. we have the same last name so we have to explain it all the time.

Mindy- Friend since High school she went to college with randy and one drunk night when me and randy started dating she told me she has to be a bridesmaid in our wedding lol so i am keeping my promise plus she will love all the dorky things in my wedding

Brandy- Randy's sister (yes their parents gave them matching names lol)

Christy- Randy's sister as well

They are all different sizes. So for bridesmaids dresses I have decided just to choose a color and they can get any dress they want. The only thing I have asked is that it is shorter because it will be July in Florida.

Here are some examples from David's Bridal.

I read your posting in my email and thought I responded to it ages ago, so I must apologize.

I love the orange dress options. I agree, the one with flowers would be great for your rehearsal. I don't think it matters how large your wedding party is compared to your guest count, after all its your day. We had 12 (and neither DH or I have siblings that had to be in the wedding either) all together in our wedding and only 50 guests.

Looking forward to reading more!

I love the orange dresses. That's what I originally planned on, but then I looked at the LSS (from pics) and the wood is very orangy-brown and I don't want them fading into the background.

But those dresses are cute! And at least you're trying to think of ways to re-use them.

Don't forget to factor in all the taxes and gratuity because that can add up a lot. Little things like floral moving fees all add up too. I know its so easy to not caculate these into things and then you get hit with several thousand extra $ at the end.

I'm sure your coordinator will work out everything for you with the dates :goodvibes

I think it depends on where all of your guests are staying. For our plan B we were told that if everyone stayed at the boardwalk then they could all walk to the international gateway and be met by a group person there and that we could avoid all of the bus stuff. I think transportation just comes into play if you have multiple hotels that aren't on the monorail or an easy walk from the venue. But then again who knows.

Yes that is a very good point. I just have no idea how much to calculate for the taxes and fees yet but I have warned my dad they are there. But I believe I am right in saying that the taxes and fees are not added in the 12,000 I have to spend so I was just trying to get to 12,000 and I will see later how much the taxes are fees are. From what I have read it is a bit ridiculous like 2,000.

I asked about the monorail she said that its fine to use. I am not doing anything in the parks so I am not required to get a bus. The monorail will get the people from the ceremony at GF to the reception in the contemporary. I am being cheap and having the guest get from their hotel to the wedding themselves. I think they would rather do this and have a Caricature then a bus pick them up. Disney has great free transportation there and my mom will have her van there so we could take a couple trips and bus people there ourselves. Since I am on a tight budget I belive this is something easy to cut.

Personally I think the monorail is far more fun than a bus or a boat.

If we do the castle wedding then I can't meet the carriage/coach until I am in the MK - so I think I would plan to just take the monorail to the MK and skip the limo stuff.

Plus if you have a photographer follow you, you could get some really great artistic pictures on the monorail - maybe they would even let you sit up front :goodvibes

So I came up with an idea for my at home reception. I am going to ask everyone who is married in the invitation to send me a copy of their weddingpictures by email or mail. I am then going to make a slide show using the pictures. I am going to set them the song Love is a Beautiful Thing by Phil Vassar. I am just hoping enough people will participate. I guess a lot of the people I can go to their house and get a picture to scan in myself. I am going to play the video right before we eat. I think it will make everyone feel involved in the wedding and will honor those already married.

Here are the lyrics to the song

Looks like everybody’s here
Had to put some foldin’ chairs in the vestibule
Yeah, it’s gettin’ full
Even old Aunt Ruby came
Her first time on an airplane
It’s her sister’s girl
She wouldn’t miss it for the world
And all them kids jumpin’ in the pews
And Mr. Charlie in his lime-green suit
‘Is a handsome man’
Remarks Widow Callahan
Uncle Joe and Uncle Jake
Haven’t spoken since ‘98
Just said, ‘Hello’
It’s a good day to let it go
So let the angels gather
Let the music play
Let the preacher get to preachin’ all the “do you take”’s
Looove is a beautiful thing
Throw the rice in the air
Let the church bells ring
Tie the cans to the back of that limosine
Loooove is a beautiful thing
Daddy’s waitin’ with the bride
Yeah, she helps him with his tie
She sees a tear
He says, ‘Man, it’s hot in here’, humm
He hugs his little girl and asks,
‘How did you grow up so fast?
God, I wish your Momma could be here for this’
And everybody stands and smiles
As she goes walkin’ down the aisle
In her Momma’s gown
And Daddy breaks on down
Gran and Gramps in the second row
Stood right there fifty years ago
And said their vows
Yeah, I guess it’s workin’ out
So let the angels gather
Let the music play
Let the preacher get to preachin’ all the “do you take”’s
Looove is a beautiful thing
Throw the rice in the air
Let the church bells ring
Tie the cans to the back of that limosine
Loooove is a beautiful thing
A little table full’a gifts
Catering’s covered dish
And the wedding band
Well, that’s on her hand
And Tommy’s teasin’ Lorelei
He pushed her down and made her cry
And neither one knows
A day will come
When the angels gather
And the music plays
And the preacher gets to preachin’ all the “do you take”’s
Looove is a beautiful thing
Throw the rice in the air
Let the church bells ring
Tie the cans to the back of that limosine
Looove
Two people in looove is a beautiful thing

I finally went and looked at some dresses. I am not photogenic at all so its hard to tell which ones look good. But here are some I looked at. There are still more places I want to go and look.

this is the dress I am going to wear to take pictures in the park the day after the wedding with my wedding party. I am not wearing my wedding dress so they can not yell at me. Also there are two of my BM tryig on some of the different dresses.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/AnniesWedding017.jpg

Dress 1:Here is a dress i do like. I have never been a lace person but i think I really want lace. Also this is the BM dress that Tara wants to get the girl on the right. She has a huge chest and the other dresses made them look even bigger.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/AnniesWedding020.jpg

Dress 2: I really like this one but everyone else said its to plain and my grandma said it looks more like something I would wear on the wedding night. (don't mind the weird face I am making)
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/AnniesWedding025.jpg

Dress 3: Here is the dress From David's Bridal everyone liked best I liked it to but it looked much better in person. And that is the dress Brandy wants the most so far but it will be in orange.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/AnniesWedding024.jpg

Here is the back of the one above. I love the back
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/AnniesWedding023.jpg

The same dress again
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/AnniesWedding026.jpg

We also went to Alfred Angelo. The people were not as nice there.

Dress 4: Its really pretty but it was to big on me so hard to tell
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/AnniesWedding031.jpg

Here is what the dress looks like on the rack looks much better on it. Also the mother of the bride dress next to it is what my mom wants to wear.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/AnniesWedding061.jpg

Dress 5: Its not bad the bow is a bit much but they said it can be taken off.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/AnniesWedding050.jpg

Dress 6: I like it but once again it was big and hard to tell
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/AnniesWedding033.jpg

Dress 7:
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/AnniesWedding034.jpg

Dress 8: the band can just be white I do not want any color on my dress

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/AnniesWedding058.jpg

My MOH made flowers for the BMs using flowers from Micheals they turned out good here is what they look like with the dresses. Dont mind my grandma.

So I have gotten a lot done lately. First of all I got a Cricut I am excited because now I can make the Mickey Fans and not pay like $22 dollars each from Impressions. I just have to figure out how I am going to get the wording on them.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13129.jpg

I found the perfect welcome bags for my bridesmaids. Half of them will be getting orange and the other blue. Because my wedding has a tropical theme I think they will be perfect also they can reuse them whenever they go to the beach. I also got luggage tags to put on them.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13149.jpg

In the welcome bags I am going to put in flip flops with Mickeys.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13143.jpg

I also just bought these cover ups from the Disney Store online they are on sale and I thought they would be great for part of their Bridesmaids gifts.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13150.jpg

I also found some hats for the tea party I am going to have. They are sun hats that I got really cheap. I am going to wear the white one. The BMs are going to wear the blue and everyone else is going to wear the black ones.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13126.jpg

I am still not sure of I am having my own tea party or just going to the tea room in the GF. If I end up having my own party I want to have a table set up where the girls can decorate there hats with things liek flowers and ribbens. I am going to put pins on the back of the flowers and the ribben so people can wear the hats as sun hats latter if they choose.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13128.jpg

One last thing I have worked on is my Mickey invitations. I bought the Mickeys from online and they are much bigger then I thought so I hope everyone likes Mickey. I took Bride-to-be idea and took a picture of all of them together. They are not all done yet they are going to talk when you push thier tummy but I do not have that part yet.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13147.jpg

I have started making boxes to put the Mickeys in. I printed out old ride signs from disney and decoupage them to the box I really like how they turned out. I am still playing around with the ribben to wrap them though. Also inside the box I am going to but in some paper and there will a rsvp card in there that I am making with my cricut.

Those boxes are too cute!! Everything you bought looks so great. I love the mickey flip flops. And how much was the circut? The mickey head looks really nice.

Thanks!! The cricuts cost like $600 but i got my for 50% off at a craft store called AC Moore. They may go on sale at other stores as well just keep checking ads that's what I did.

First of all, I LOVE your BM cards AND the orange and blue items you have for the home reception! They look great!

Secondly, you mentioned the Dapper Dans, and we had them at our wedding. They were phenomenal! They were great at interacting with the guests and really brought a neat feel to the reception!

I've uploaded a video clip of them! They serenaded us while I was getting my train bustled before we went into the reception. My WP insisted on doing it, even though I knew there was a trick only my mom knew! So, please excuse my bridezilla-ish moment when I was getting irritated with what was going on behind me! I'll try to upload another clip soon where they sang inside the reception.

Wow! That's strange. I was never told that. It could be that our wedding was on a Monday in January! :confused3

I just looked through my info. They were on my original BEO after my PS, so I probably asked sometime in October (my PS was in early Nov).

I know there's more than just 4 guys, because we saw some of our guys in the MK after the wedding, but they were singing with other guys. It was cute, though, because they recognized us and waved. One even talked to us (we ran into them at least twice).

Maybe there's only one "set" and they inter-change performers, but I was never told that I might not be able to have them. Weird.

So I was talking this am with DF about your tuxes (which I forgot to mention before that I LOVE:lovestruc)- I didn't know that you could rent nice khaki suits/tuxes so we were just going to buy DF one for the MK photoshoot but was wondering how much they cost to rent those (if you don't mind sharing)? It would definately be easier not to have to bring a suit to Disney and then have to try to iron all the wrinkles out:confused3

I have not really looked in Florida yet but some places in PA rent them around $50 but Florida could be more. I did not know you could rent them either till I went to a bridal show. A tux is just not what we wanted so this works great.

Just wanted to put my two cents in... I "know" some of the Dapper Dans from my days spent working on Main St. They are some of the sweetest guys. There are definitely more than 4, and they don't always sing in the same sets, if that makes sense. It's wierd they won't book them yet though...

P.S. I still have a huge crush on them :lovestruc I think Paul and Aaron still work there...but my biggest crush Chad left a few years ago.

Only Nine more days till I know if I get my Date time and places for my Wedding!!!!!!!!

Right now I am trying to decide where to have my rehearsal dinner. Some idea we have are

The Wave- A newer restaurant in the contemporary. But it could be expensive depending on what people order and if they order a drink. My reception is also in the Contemporary to so I know everyone will be able to make it there the next day haha.

Margaritaville- We love to eat here. But not everyone will have a car so it could be hard to get everyone there. But it would be so much fun I was thinking I could get everyone lays and make them wear them!! Also I do not think they let you make reservations so we could be waiting a long time. They have bands a lot of the time to so this could be a lot of fun.

Illuminations Party- this is so unique to Disney. I would love to do this but not sure if it would fit in the budget. I know there are hidden cost to doing this like a $75 set up fee and $250 rental fee and so on. My wedding consultant said that because it is not on the day of the wedding I do not need a Bus but I need some one to escort the guest without a park ticket to the location. If any one has a budget from their dessert party and does not mind sharing please share.

Also who do u invite to the Rehearsal? There are only going to be like 30 people at the wedding so if I invite wedding party their spouses and family. That only leaves out a couple people. It seems kinda rude since everyone else is going but I need to keep cost down.

I have also booked Ron Rosenzweig as our officiant.
I added a little something different to our wedding ceremony. Its a tree planting ceremoney. It is kind of like the sand ceremony. below is the wording for this.

(Groom) and (Bride) have decided to plant a tree to symbolize the new life they together are creating.
The roots of this tree will symbolize a sturdy foundation necessary for a good marriage
The watering will symbolize the love and nurturing that each of you will give to the relationship
as it grows and matures.
The branches of this tree will symbolize outstretched arms to comfort each other.
The truck of this tree will symbolize support as you may need one another to lean on.
This tree will remind you that just as the tree is strong enough to weather any storm,
so shall your love for one another.
And the tree itself will remind you of your time together and how it will continue to grow

I also have booked LeJeune- Hair Design & Makeup Artistry.

I have also done a lot for my tea party. It is going to be held the day before the wedding at lunch time. The location is the Key West room.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/KeyWestRoom.jpg

I want to have one long table that will have an orange table cloth and a runner down the middle of wheat grass. I am going to have tea kettles with flowers in them down the table as well. Here is what I am working on right now. I want to get dry ice to put in the tea kettles so it looks like steam coming out.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13104.jpg

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13100.jpg

The main center piece will be a cup cake tower with Alice theme cup cakes.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/images.jpg

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/100_5061.jpg

I also want to have lanterns all over. I really would like to hang them from the ceiling but I do not think there will be any way to do this.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13107.jpg

There will be two younger girls at the tea party and by luck at Micheals the other day I found these little princes tea sets that they can paint. Only cost $2

The front says don't be late for a very important date

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13108.jpg
the inside says
You must join us in a cup of tea
Andrea’s Mad Hatter Tea Party
July 14, 2010
11:00am to 1:00pm
Grand Floridian Hotel
Please Rsvp or off with your head!!!

I also bought a dress.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13121.jpg

And a necklaces with a tea kettle on it

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13116.jpg

I already have a hat because I am giving everyone who come one to decorate. There is going to be a separate table with ribbon, flowers, and feathers. Mine is the white hat I still need to decorate it. The blue ones are for people in my wedding party and the black are for everyone else.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13126.jpg

I found this hat though and love it. I may have to wear more then one hat during the party lol. Maybe change half way through.

I tried on the Kirstie Kelly Wedding dresses today!! I really want to get the Giselle dress but it cost $3,700 plus $1,000 for the veil that matches:scared1:. So I am looking for it used or discounted some where. I will post pictures later.

Here are some of the dresses I tried on. They did not have as many Kirstie Kelly dresses as I would have hoped. They did have the two I wanted to try on most they had. :woohoo: So here are some pictures.

This is the dress I wanted to it on the most it was a Jasmine dress. But on me it was to plain I was a little sad because I love it on the model on the website. The back in my favorite part and I do not know if it was because it was so big but it did not look the same on me.

Here is my favorite dress. Gisele but like I mentioned before it cost nearly 5,000. But I looked on line last night. And I found a site that sells used wedding dresses a girl was selling one that was my size for 1,500. I was actually my size what are the chances of that and she was even going to through in the matching veil that is 1,000 alone. I thought it was meant to be then I found out it was sold I almost cried. :sad:But ill keep checking the site maybe someone else will sell theirs.

the veil is amazing it is longer then the dress and has the same petals on it. And when you dance the first dance you are support to wrap it around your arm. like in the picture above.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/cameraapril13133.jpg

Hopefully I will find this dress some where. There are also a few things I want to do to it so it looks a little better (like put the wires in the chest area like on of the other dresses I tried on) so those cost will be a bit high to.

jessesgirl-080708- It was a good thing you did not let yourself
try on that dress I wish I didn't. I keep looking everyday hoping some one will sell a used one.

tinkerbell 766- (http://www.disboards.com/member.php?u=162254) The Key west room's f&b minimum is only $500 but it is a small room that only hold about 20 people. I do not know the prices of food yet. I wanted to get a mad hatter cake but $400 for a cake for 20 people would be crazy so hopefully the cupcakes will be a lot cheaper. Once I get some prices I will post them for you. I did look at the prices of the tea room at the GF. Hopefully it will cost about the same?

I also think I have found my jewelry. here are the earrings. I found on etsy.com

I am working with the seller to make a necklace that matches that will look kinda like this but with crystals instead of pearls.

Now I just need to find some earrings for my Bridesmaids.

I also just realized I never posted a picture of my e-ring. I can not take a picture myself that will turn out. So here is a picture the store sent me its not to good either and I got a square diamond not the round one shown in the picture.

3rd Course
Assorted Tea Sandwiches – Lemon Chicken, Garden Vegetable, & Dijon Pesto
4th Course
Margarita Pie, Chocolate Pudding, & Lemon Melt Away Cookies
Iced Tea, Lemonade, & Assorted Hot Teas

Looking at this I want Cold Strawberry Soup, Salad, and Assorted Tea Sandwiches - Egg Salad, Tuna Salad, Cucumber and Cream Cheese, & Raspberry Jam & Cream. Then dessert with be custom cupcakes and cookies. But I may change my mind at the planning session. I can not decide if it should be buffet or a served meal just with the sandwiches being served family style. I think it is cheaper to have it be sit down because there is less food put out because everyone gets the same serving. Bu ti feel with a buffet people will be able to mingle more.

That's so awesome that you found the dress and at a great price! I hope you'll post pics so we can all see!

The jewelry is very pretty. I have my jewelry too, but trying to figure out if I'm going to get the BM's jewelry or not. I already got them nice tote bags, so the budget for the jewelry is low. The buffet would let people mingle more, but I think a plated would be fine with the right table set up.

The menu's look great!

I think I picked out my music. My wedding planner sent me a cd with Disney and traditional wedding music. I am getting married in the wedding pavilion so I get an organist for free. Not my favorite but its free. Since it is a Disney wedding I am going with all Disney music.

Seating
- Beauty and the beast Tail as old as time
-Whole new world
-someday my prince will come
-can you feel the love tonight
-once upon a dream
-kiss the girl
-so this is love

Mothers Entrance (i let my mom pic and she did a great job)
-You'll be in my heart

Officiant and Mens entrance
-You've got a friends in me (not sure yet)

Bridesmaid Entrance
- A dream is a wish you heart makes ( not positive on this either)

Brides Entrance
- When you wish upon a star

Recession/Exit
- Disney melody (Its on the Cd its really fun its a couple of Disney songs from the park)

I think I am going to have the seating, mother, and mens entrence songs played with words from a CD and the rest played from the organ.

Great song choices. I heard they can make the organ sound different, like it can sound more like a regular piano, so you might be able to have them to do that.

I cannot even tell you how jealous I am of your creativity! I love everything you picked... the whole tea party is adorable, and I love the colors for the outdoor reception. I love the Mickey boxes, your bridesmaid invites, and your flipbooks.

I am not doing anything extra aside from the wedding and lunch, but I am getting engagement pictures done next week. I definitely might need to steal that idea for my wedding announcements! I love it! :thumbsup2

So even though I found my Wedding dress I still keep looking on some websites because I would really like to find it in white and ill Just resell the one I have. While doing this I found the another Kirstie Kelly Wedding dress I loved for only $100 with free shipping. The girl who had it before found another dress she liked. This one still has the tags on it and everything never warn. So even thought there was no real reason for me to get it I bid on it thinking I would be out bid. But I was not I am thinking about wearing it during my Epcot shoot or Ill just resell it or maybe DCL vow renewal for our 10 year aniversity.:rotfl:

I have been looking at dresses to wear for the wedding rehearsal and my tea party. I found the perfect dress for the wedding rehearsal. I found it online it is originally $350 and i got it for $123. I probably should not have even spent that much but I love it. It has little fringe on the bottom that is like the petals that hang off my wedding dress so it could not be any more perfect.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/phoebecouture-fringedress.jpg

For the Tea Party I already bought a dress but now I am having second thought because I feel like it is a little to sexy for a tea party in the middle of the day. I can always wear it the night I take Randy to eat at his favorite Disney restaurant for dinner. I have found a couple others I like. What do you think?

1. Dress I already Maybe to sexy?

I have also been looking at hair styles for my wedding day. I am so confused on what to do. I will have a veil, and I want to use flowers or a head band. I am thinking a flower and headband may be to much its to hard to decide. Here are some ideas. As you can tell they are all over the place. I do not even know if I want an updo or it down.

#1. I would love to have my hair big and down but I do not trust it to stay looking nice. My hair is very very straight.

lol, steal away! I love that headband too and I'm glad I could help. My fav is that headband, of course, but I really like the flower in #3 too. I did see a website where you could get a flower like that on a rhinestone headband, which could be an option too but not sure what the prices were like.

My favorite is the third dress, I love dresses like that, it's so girly and would be perfect for a tea party!

Thanks! I got it from Neiman Marcus they do not have many sizes left I had to get it to big and will have to get it sized. I looked all over the internet and could not find it any where else. There was a navy blue one that you can still find easily but I wanted white and the Navy one is not as cheap. Here is the site for Neiman Marcus. The brand is Phoebe Couture.

My votes for the hair are #2 or #3, I also have super straight hair, so I would be concerned the ones that were part down might not last as well. Love the tea party dress choices, I'm not sure which one is my favorite.

Dress #2 for the tea party in a size 6

BETSEY JOHNSON DRESS
This gorgeous Betsey Johnson dress has been worn 1 time for 3 hours (I wore it to my bridal shower). Its been dry cleaned. There are no rips, stains, smells, tears -- nothing! I paid over $300 for this, but since everyone I know saw me in it, I feel like it will be a long time before I can wear it again. Its yours for $99. Size 6.

So I have been playing around with what I should do for my centerpieces. I've know I wanted to use the Jim Shore Cinderella Castles but I did not know how to incorporate my orange color with them this is what I have came up with I think I really like it.
(Sorry about the construction in the back ground.)
The castle is on orange roses.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/room001.jpg

Here is an up close picture of the bowls next to the castle. It is a rose floting in water with blue crystals at the bottom.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/room006-1.jpg

I also thought about putting a bunch of flowers in the vase rather then just the one floating. My Df said he likes the one floating but I like the bunch. I did not have enough roses to show what it looks like with them under the castle and in the vase so heres a picure of them in the vase.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/room011.jpg

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/room014.jpg

What do you girls think looks better? Ill have 4 tables maybe two tables with the floating rose and 2 with the rose bundel? Also I need to decide between the white and black table clothes?

I found a website that will send you flowers at a cheaper price for your wedding. It does make me nervous though to could on them delvering them the day before the wedding. http://weddingflowersofamerica.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=15

THats the link has anyone ever done anything like this before?

To save some money my MOH is making the bridesmaid flowers from flowers I got from Micheals.

I am also working on a blurb book for my guest book. I am going to put pictures in it from all of our Disney Trip we have been on together. Our first trip together was for my high school graduation. Digital Cameras were not really out then so all I have are printed pictures. I took pictures of the picture but I still need to work on it they are blurry. But here is a blurry picture of us on our first Disney Trip.

The silk flowers are really pretty, I love the colors.

I just made a book for a friend who moved away like that and there were some pre-digital photos too. I went to Sam's Club and used their scanner to get them all put on a CD which was really helpful and made it so easy to upload to the software.

I got there at 11 pm on Sunday and my PS was 9 am on Monday. SO my planning session was the first thing I did. My planner was really nice and she is from the same city I am so that was neat. Here is a picture of us.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/DSCF1576.jpg
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/DSCF1577.jpg

First we talked about the logistics of things. I had already been there for a site visit so we did not need to leave and look at any rooms.

Then I talked with rose about decorations. I am bringing silk flowers for my bouquets so i just had to talk about tables. I am going to steal another bride named Andrea flower set up at the wedding pavilion. Then those flowers will move to the head table for the reception.

The tables at the reception will have blue table cloths and tangerine napkins. My center pieces were going to be jim shore castles but I only have one and they stopped selling them. So I am just going to use my one on the sign in table and the guest tables will have orange orchids.

Tables will look like this.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/1.jpg

Depending on cost I would like two of the tables to have this centerpiece. But instead of green orchids orange with blue gel. And candles will be on the table as well. California Grill has a no candle rule so they will have to be battery operated.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/kkiin.jpg
Two other tables will have center pieces like this but blue gel on the bottom.
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/DSCF1629.jpg

If these are to expensive all the tables will just have these as the center piece.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/DSCF1630.jpg

We also talked about table covers for the tea party that will be crazy colors and she will also do my wheat grass table runner. Her I am with Rose.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/DSCF1573.jpg

Then it was time for cake testing. I decided on marble cake with Bavarian Cream because I wanted something a little different. But Randy gets a special cake with dark chocolate creme that I will definitely be helping him eat.

These are the cakes but half will be orange and half will be blue.

While I was down there I also got a hair trail. Patricia was so nice and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her. She asked me how I found out about her and I told her about the DIS board and she looked at me like I was crazy. I figured she has heard of it before because so many girls on here have used her. I think I found how I am going to do my hair. The pictures didn't turn out to well but here they are.

Hi!!!Thanks so much you are to nice!

Where did you purchase the tea cups that you painted? They are adorable!

I got them from a local place where I live. It is a paint your own pottery place other towns have them to I know. I am not sure if you can find a store on line that sells them or not.

I love the orchid in your hair! I too wasn't sold after my hair trial, but stuck with it, and my longer hair made all the difference, and I loved my hair!

I got my floral budget and two things I really wanted are way to expensive. One is a custom aisle runner. I knew it would cost more coming from disney but my dad wanted to get it through them because then Disney would lay it down and we would not have to worry about it. Well they said it starts at 250 for the plain runner then extra for personalization. Well I had not idea it would be so much more. The final cost was 1,020. And that's for one color just saying And they lived happier ever after. So I am getting one from some where else that is way less and it is prettier because it has a colored border. Here is a link to it on ebay mine is going to look like the picture on the bottom it has orange writing and blue ribbon down the side (my wedding colors!). http://cgi.ebay.com/Custom-Monogrammed-Wedding-Aisle-Runner_W0QQitemZ260557746723QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_ DefaultDomain_0?var=&hash=item8262be9941
then when you buy the aisle runner I can get a table runner to match for only $15. I am going to put it at the head table.

The other thing that cost way to much was the wheat grass table runner for my tea party. I really really want this but it came out to $900. I never thought it would be that much. I am still trying to find an alternative to this. I will be really sad if I can not have this. I looked on save on crafts for fake wheat grass and it cost just as much as the real stuff. I am trying to get a hold of florist that maybe sell it cheaper.

The other thing I wanted to tell you was that I totally hear you on the isle runner. Ours was $1600 and wasn't completely what I was expecting. Some days I am really happy with it and some days I am not. I like being able to keep it and have it forever but I feel like I could have made it myself for sooooo much less. If your budget is tight I really vote cute the runner. Just go out and buy some fabric and try it yourself - see how it comes out. If you don't like it then get one from Disney.

I am sorry I can't help with the wheat grass. I don't totally know what it is... I would love to see a pic!!

I think your hair turned out really pretty. I was also a little unsure after my trail, but my hair stylist was really easy to work with and was able to make adjustments while she was doing it the day or our wedding too.

I actually decided to get a runner some where else off line I may have to have some one lay it down but its a ton cheaper plus nicer. I am going to have my runner turned into a quilt after the wedding so its something I can have out.
Wheat grass is just a type of grass but it really does not use dirt so you can use it to decorate. Here are some pictures of it. The bottom one is a picture I took with the teapot I am using for the tea party.

So I have been doing a lot to get the tea party ready. I am having to much fun planning this. First of all I switched to a larger room. It is called the Palm Beach Room. It is usually used as a meeting room so it has a long table in it. It has big chairs in it but they are switching them out for standard chairs that I am having covered.

I have solved the wheat grass problem and actually like what I came up with more. I am going to used a moss runner and just have patches of wheat grass where the tea pots are. Below is a mock up of what the table will look like. But its a really long table so there will be lots of these.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/teapartylayout004.jpg

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/teapartylayout005.jpg

The tea cups are the favors for every one there are more colors to. I have picture of those in an older post. I made boxes and was hoping to have them be a surprise and have everyone open there box and see them but they are to cute not to have out on the table. So I am just going to give the boxes out at the end and let everyone take whatever color they like.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/room042.jpg

These are the place cards. I am going to write everyone's name on them. I might add some ribbon to each one to so they have some color.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/teapartylayout008.jpg

A project I still have to do it figure out how to make the holder for the lanterns. I know Disney will not let me hang things from the ceiling so I found the picture below. I am going to use a veriety of colors (i am also using these for some of my center pieces at my at home reception but with just blue and orange lanterns). I am just not sure what kind of material they used. This is a project for my DF. (he has gotten off way to easy so far:rotfl:)

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/projectweddingpaperlanterns.jpg

I am also giving everyone a tea hat because they will not be able to pack a hat on a plane. The ones I got are more like beach hats so I am having a MAKE A MAD HAT table. There is going to be ribbon and flowers and some other fun things to pin on their hats. Here is what the table is going to kinda look like I need to get some more things and I need to make a sign that says make a mad hat.

The main centerpiece for the tea is going to be a cupcake tower. Here is kind of an idea I am playing with. I am going to use different sized plates these are just some I had laying around. Also it is going to be 3 tiers. I would like to have a little cake that looks like the mad hatters hat on the top layer but ill see how much that cost. I picked out the cupcakes. I wanted a lot of different ones but they said I could choose only three different ones ( not to happy about that). So I am doing mad hatter hats, the chesire cat, and the caterpillar.

What I am working on using little teapots.

Cold Strawberry soup (served)

Ceaser Salad (served)

Assorted Sandwiches- Egg salad sandiwches, tuna salad, cucumber and cream chesse, & raspberry jam & cream ( served on tri-level stands)

I have not worked with real wheat grass yet. In my pictures that is fake wheat grass I got from saveoncraft website. I am having trouble finding the real stuff but online they said you can find it at farmers markets, heath stores, and some floral shops.

Hi Ann:wave:

I have just read your planner from page 1 all the way through. I LOVE your tea party ideas. I am doing an almost identical thing for my at home reception. I want to try an incorporate "Down the rabbit hole" in there somewhere as well.

Did you price up the mad hatter cake if it was only 2 tiers? I believe that can be a cheaper option. We are only having 4 guests to our wedding at Fultons Crabhouse so will probably go for the small cakes as well. Can't really justify paying for anything larger that we may not eat.

I am having orange, turquoise and lime green as my colours. I love your wheat grass idea, would love to now how this turns out for you.

I am glad you like everything. The mad hatter theme is so fun to work with. If you start a planning journal let me know I would love to see your ideas. I did look into a mad hatter cake but since there are only 20 of us there still would have been a lot of extra cake for the price. I like adding the green to the colors that will look great!

Wow, I love all the tea party decorations. Everything is coming together so cute! The price isn't bad either, we just had a tea in the Gardenview Tea Room and paid around $20 per person and that was just for a few small pastries and sandwiches. If you need a site for the lanterns, you might want to check out www.asianideas.com I bought my parasols there at a bargain and I think they have lanterns too. Love the make your own mad hat idea too!

I have gotten a lot done the past few weeks. Also I had my wedding shower. I am going to add pictures soon of everything. Here is our schedule when we are down there so far. Less then two months away!

Saturday: Sweetheart dinner at Jikos. Its our favorite restaurant and I am going to surprise Randy.

Sunday: Going to go to one of the water parks. Hopefully get a nice tan to. I was thinking about signing up for the surf lessons they have in the morning but I am guessing we are going to want to sleep in. Then in the evening all my family is going to the Hoopdee doo review.

Monday: I am going to spend the day in the park then in the evening Drink Around The World in Epcot. I just made up t-shirts for this event Ill post a picture soon I love them I am excited to do this.

Tuesday: Some of the people who are coming to the wedding are going to go to universal so see the new Harry Potter exhibit. I think we are going to just spend a relaxing day maybe go to the park for a little bit then spend the day by the pool.

Wednesday: Very busy day! Tea party in the afternoon. I am bringing all the decor for it so I have to spend a lot of time setting up for it in the AM. Also we have the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner this day to.

Thursday: The wedding!! Maybe relax in the morning hang around the pool a bit. Then get ready.

Friday: I am making my wedding party take some pictures in the park. THe girls all got dresses that can be worn as sun dresses and they are going to meet us in Magic kingdom to take pitures in frount of the castle. I bought an orange dress to but mine has flowers to stanf out from them . The guys are wearing kaki shorts and a blue t- shirt. After we go to magic kingdom then we are going to Disney Studios where we will take a couple more pictures then eat at Pizza PLanet!! One of our favoret places. Then in the evening we are having a dessert party in epcot for the wedding party as thier thank you gifts!!

Saturday: Magic Kingdom and Epcot photo shoot then Brunch but i have not made reservations yet I need to decide where to go. Anyone have any suggestions.

Sunday: Leave for home:sad1:

I will post pictures of things soon.

It is way to close now! I have been really busy getting everything ready. I have posted some updates.

Our hotel was upgraded from the all star movie to Port Orleans! Everyone seems to be happy with the upgrade cant complain about the same price for a nicer hotel.

Here is one of my favorite things the drink arounf the world t-shirts. The frount has a logo for our wedding and the back has a design I got from the dis board. It has a place to check off every country when we get a drink. They turned out great!

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/P6020154.jpg

I also made count down calenders with my cricut. Once it is two weeks to the wedding they can take off that number and underneath the numbers are a fact about disney world and stuff about me and randy.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/P5170065.jpg

I have also made signs for everyone to hang in the windows to let everyone know they are here for our wedding.

Lady and the Tramp was my favorite Disney movie growing up so I figured what better then to have my bridal shower be a lady and the tramp theme. It was held in a remodeled barn so it gave it a cool old look that was great for an Italian theme. THe barn is really used for environmental education classes but I used to work there so they let me use the space for my shower. We also made cupcakes that look like spaghetti. It turned out great!!

They set a timer for ever couple of minutes to go off wen I was opening gifts when the timer when off then we picked a name for a basket.

Thanks everyone. My shower was a lot of fun! I got the tea cups from a store that sells unfinished pottery and you can paint them right in the store and then they fire them for you. There maybe one near your home I know other cities have stores like this. I also needed a friend with some artist talent as well I never could have done them by myself.

The shower turned out fantastic! I love how everything tied into the theme and the cupcakes are so cute, I have to know what the meatballs are made out of - are they chocolates? The baskets are so cute, my friend went to a shower where it was a time shower where there were baskets for different times of the day - breakfast items, movie night for evening, etc.

One month to go!!! I can not believe to is getting here so fast! I still have plenty to do though. I have some updates I got my guest book. We did not have e-pictures so I took pictures of things that ill be at our wedding there are picture of our rings, invitations, other decorations, locations, etc. In it they can sign their name and then leave some advice for the newlyweds. Also the last few pages are blank because at the end of the night I am going to give everyone a post card ready to be sent to DF and I where they will write their favorite things about the day. I am then going ot paste those into the guest book.

My mom did not take very good care of her wedding dress. So I asked her if I could take a peice of the lace to add to my flowers. She said yes and in fact she said throw the rest away when you are done:eek:. I could not throw her dress away. So I made her a frame with lace from the dress and a picture from her wedding day so she would still have some of the dress. I hope she likes it. I still could not throw away the rest of the dress I just feel to bad.

Here is the lace from her dress on my wedding flowers I am using silk flowers so I already have them. I also added buttons from her dress.

Here is her dress but with the sleves cut off I took pictures before i cut it but DF deleted them by accident.

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/P5170069.jpg

I also made this shirt for my mom. Its our whole family

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/P6150022.jpg

My mom really wanted a Tinkerbell at the wedding but we do not know any little girls. Well turns out my dad's friend invited his whole family to come to our wedding not just him and his wife ( which will be a little strange because out of hte 40 guest 7 will be this family i do not really know) But anyway he has a granddaughter who is going to be Tinkerbell. I could not get a normal Tinkerbell dress because I felt the green dress with the orange bridesmaid would look like a pumpkin. So I got one with blue in it (our other wedding color). She is also going to wear wings and some really cute shoes. I am having a rose wand made for her to.

Your shower looks great, those cupcakes are amazing! The guestbook looks great and I think that is such a cute idea with the postcards. How sweet of your mom, I can't believe she told you to throw the dress away... I have heard of people using the gown to make a christening gown which I thought was a really nice idea. OMG those sandals are so adorable with the ribbon tink! I really like the graphic for the caricatures too, I think it's definitely worth it.

So I bought an aisle runner four months ago. The lady emailed me back all the time at first. Now she hardly ever does. She said that she had to get a part time job but that is no reason not to answer emails for two weeks:sad2:. My wedding is so close not and I am afraid I am not going to get it. I am so upset the website makes it seem like such a nice business and her eBay reviews were 100% good. I just hope I get it soon.
