Here's my new TV.

2009 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4.6 V8 2WD, Class III/IV towing package, navigation, Sync, fully loaded except Tonnau Cover, sunroof and remote start.

Just took her on about a 150 mile joy ride and got 20.1 average and she was cruisin at 75 MPH at less than 2000 RPMs love it!!! Can't wait to see how she tows my little T@B. The T@B always towed great with my 02 Sport Trac, but this baby has the stabilization and trailer sway control :-)

I've got an ARE Z-Shell on order for her. It's gonna be sharp :-)

Sweeeeeeeeeeet!!!! I'm glad you got the V-8.:thumbsup2

Rick says you're gonna love the sync feature!!

Can't go wrong with a Ford! My Explorer (and you've seen it) is 13 years old, 165K miles, and still thinks it's new!!

Nice set of wheels. I wish we lived in a state that allowed us to have only one plate (we are required to have a tag on the front and rear, so no Fort vanity plates for us;-(

When you get bored sometime, try challenging the navigation system by ignoring the directions; I've always wanted to know how long it takes before that polite voice turns into part of the family and talks back like my wife and kids do?

I'm already lovin the Sync, it's only a single CD player, BUT it has a hard drive and you can record your CDs to it. So far I've got about 15 CDs recorded and no signs of running out of room!!! Still trying to learn the navigation though, the POI list is way different than my portable Magellan GPS. It took me forever to find the FORT as a POI.

Love your new TV Carol! By the way, it was nice to meet you last Dec and see that way cool Tab up close. My son in law and I were looping about midnight and we saw you working on you Christmas lights. I know a stranger walking up that late can be a little odd so I tried to quickly say I am a Dis'er. It was very nice of you to show us around your site. I meant to bring my wife, my daughter and my grandaughter over to meet you but boy, we were more busy than I ever imagined! That 10 mo old and the 3 dogs really consumed a lot of our time. Anyway, nice to meet you!

Well thanks all for the compliments!! We just took the new truck for a "test" drive down to WDW. The V8 got an average of 18.9 for the drive. Not too shabby. We did discover a minor problem that I'm glad I didn't discover while towing, so it's off to the dealer today.

(The engine wants to rev up to over 3000 RPMs sometimes when you step on the brake). (Squealing tires while you coming to a stop sign, and having to drop it in neutral is not fun)

I just hope they figure out what it is and can duplicate it. It's one of those intermittant things, and of course the diagnostic doesn't show anything.

If anyone has had this problem, let me know how they fixed it!!
