Hi, about to book August FD, where to book it? Any travel agency having any special perks like a Disney gift card?
I know AAA (I booked with them for my April trip) has special perks like free carseat at Hertz, free additional driver with Hertz rental car and the AAA diamond parking pass but we are not renting a car in August.....

AAA is in my opinion still worth it. You can get free dining plus discounted rates for your rooms and good airfare prices along with other things like special vouchers...free min. golf, a coupon for perc. off merchandise (only one time), & other little things. Even if you don't care about that stuff you will still save a lot. I just booked with AAA and then looked at what it would have been if I booked with Disney and it was a huge savings. Also they are really on top of everyting with the dining res. They will do it for you if you want. My TA even said something about getting us in with the pref. seating dinner show at fantasmic. You can get a AAA discount and still get the free dining package? I thought it was based on rack rate.

Ya, I thought it had to be at the rack rate as well, except if Disney offered a discount like at SS last year for bounceback. Hmmm.

The FD with AAA is rack rate on rooms. You only get a discount on the room if there are no other discounts attached to your resevation. FD is considered a discount. So no double dipping your discounts.

Thats what I thought too. But I have wondered the original question as well. I know of no other perks, such as a gift card or anything free offered by any travel agency to book your Disney World package through them. So I book directly with Disney for our vacations. Now cruises, no other way to go but a travel agent.
