1. Are there plenty of coat hangers on the ship or should I try to cram a few in my bag?

2. For tropical night, are there leis or shell necklaces available on board? My children have some here at home and I'm wondering if I should try to cram those in too.

3. We will be staying at the Cocoa Beach Hilton for a few days before the cruise. What are some good restuarants nearby?

I have been reading this board for months. Thanks to all of you who have answered all my questions!

I would say there is not enough clothes hangers - I always take extras since finding this out on our first cruise.

Leis are provided for tropical night, or at least they were on the cruise we were on.

Refer to Dave's www.dcltribute.com site and click on space coast info link. He has stuff there for where to dine i believe.

hope this helps...

I packed most of our dress clothes in a garmet bag, on hangars. So with those hangars, I thought there were enough. Now if I had taken everything off the hangars to pack, I wouldn't have had enough!

They gave us each a flowered lei on tropical night, but there weren't extras. If you have some nice ones, you might throw them in.

As prymsu mentioned, I have a map of Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach with the locations of hotels and a few restaurants.

Since you're going to be there for a few days, you might want to enjoy a sunset dinner at the Sunset Cafe. This restaurant, right next-door to Florida's Seafood, overlooks the Banana River. Gorgeous view.

Also, you gotta try Roberto's Little Havana for some authentic Cuban food. My family and I went there for lunch with Shirley. This is the real thing.

It's located at 26 N. Orlando Avenue. This is about 1 1/2 miles south from the Hilton on A1A. (A1A splits into two one-way streets when you get to downtown Cocoa Beach... Roberto's is on the right as you're heading south.)

hi,

Just a quick note to say that when we were on the ship I just asked the stateroom assistant for more coathangers and they were brought very quickly.

That is not always the case. It is nice when you get the extra hangers right away, but I asked, and never got any...
