:confused: I have heard and read about OKW and possibly renting points from time-share owners. Does anyone know about this, and how you would go about it????

Sure, this is my second year to do it. You go to the DVC forum and look under the rent/trade points board. There is a post with FAQ's that will help you get through the process. It's definately a deal compared to straight rack rates from WDW.

I stayed at OKW last year and we loved it. We're staying at BWV this time.

I did this last year for a November trip - it's the best bargain around!! We stayed in a room w/ a rack rate of ~$260 for $105, including $25/night for "extra housekeeping." (When you are a DVC member or renting points from a member, you only get housekeeping every 8 days, plus "trash and towels" every 4. On vacation, I want the beds made and bathroom cleaned for me! :) )

I posted a points request, and within literally one day, I had three emails from people willing to rent me their points. Totally painless process. Give it a shot!!
