What has been the least busy week for free dining? I understand that August isnt, because school can still be out, but if you could have an ideal week what would be the best weather wise and crowd levels?? Newbie, just wanting to hear some opinons from some veterans.;)

I went 9/5-9/5 last year. The parks were empty. We pretty much walked on everything except Toy Story Midway (but were able to get fast passes for it when the park opened). We won a Dream Fastpass in Animal Kingdom, but none of the lines were long enough to bother using it!

I would say go after Labor Day for sure. The parks really empty out a couple of days later. And it's pretty much smooth sailing until F&WF.

Just popping in to agree with the previous posters.... we have been a couple of times right after Labor Day. It's usually packed on Labor Day, and then the day after it just empties. It's fantastic. We even rode Test Track over and over without getting back in line one night. And like one of the PPs, we received dream fast passes and didn't really need them. So we have some of the tabs still left on our DFPs. If you can go then, it's the perfect time.
