Hi. Sorry that we had to move the thread. There was someone who did not like that we were posting on it. I do not know why:confused3. However it might be nice to have our own kids thread. My favorite school subject is tech. We are building our own miniture motor boats for it (Not out of a kit or with instructions or something like that.). What is your favorite ride at Disney? My favorite ride is Mission Space. Can you go on Mission Space I know a lot of people cannot. Do you like theatre? I love it. What is your favorite thing to do for theatre? I like running follow spot. For pirate night my Mom always makes our costumes (She can sew the coolest costumes.) mine is black pants an off white sort of baggy shirt that laces up at the top and a sash (a foam sword in the sash ofcourse) and I always put my hair in a bunch of little braids and I usually have a bandannapirate:. Do you usually dress up for formal night? I always do I have the most gorgeus dress and then my little brother Rio always wear a tux and escorts me down the stairs (He is big on formal night.). My favorite ship is the Wonder however it usually only does short cruises and all of our friends are on the Magic.

Hi we are Samantha (9) and Alyia (8). This will be our 2nd Disney cruise, but our first 7 day.

Samantha: Interests: Pokemon, Littlest Pet Shop, animals/bugs, nature, science experiments,softball and cheerleading.
Not an all out girly, girl... but has her moments. Not into princesses but likes the castles. Likes bright fun colors. Outgoing. I am my town's "Little Miss" 2008 queen.

Alyia: Interests: Barbie, Littlest Pet Shop, dress up, animals, ballet, Brownies/Girl Scouts and cheerleading.
More of a girly girl then her sister. Picky eater. I am on the autism spectrum (PDD) but please don't let that stop anyone from trying to be my friend. It just takes me longer to get to know a person, places or to think sometimes.

Both can't wait for the cruise, they liked it better then Disney World!

It took me four years to get my Black Belt.

The way I post a photo is we have an account at photobucket.com (it is free). I upload the photo I want to photobucket. Then uer the photo on photobucket are different "addresses" Copy the bottom one (an IMG code) and put that copy into your post. It will just be a bunch of letters and numbers but when you click post it shows up as the picture. Does that make sense?

How long has it been since you went to Disney? My family usually goes at least once each year. Did you go on the intense version of Mission Space or the newer one they made?

No my Dad is not in the military and no we do not live in however you spell it. He is an engineer and used to work with making gaskets and seals (he has three US patents) Now he works in total cost down of engineering.

I just got back from my class trip to Sonnebers a hour ago. It was so much fun. We got to go on a high ropes course, a low ropes course (we had to try to figure out how to get everybody across without touching the ground once.), a eight km GPS walk (through snow and up mountains), to a toy museum, an aquarium, and on some really cool seven person bikes. My favorite Disney character is Belle. I think I am a lot like her. Do you like poetry? I really like poetry.

Sorry I have not responded for a while. I have been quite busy lately. My favorite type of poetry is free verse (so long as it rymes). Do you like writing poems? I love writing poems. Here is one I just wrote.

Sorry, I have hardly posted. My teachers have been piling homework on me and I have had a lot of tests since it is near the end of the year:teacher:. Fairly neat means about the same as pretty interesting and is just the way I talk (I read a lot of old books and Isuppose it rubs off). However do not worry I do not think that commenting on it is mean (I actually get that a lot.). So anyways, how are you? I am fine excepting the fact that I am extremely busy. Right now, my favorite thing to read is Calvin and Hobbes. I recently discovered the books my parents had of these funny comics. I do Tai Kwon Do (my family and I just got our Red belts). Congratulations on the Black Belt. We hope to earn ours in a year or so.

I like to swim, play computer games and watch tv (favorites right now are Avatar:The Last Airbender, Hannah Montana, Jonas, Bones, NCIS).

I have done 1 other cruise, a 7 night Disney Western Cruise in November of 2005. I am really looking forward to this one.

It is neat that you also do marshal arts. I do not understand much about Tai Kwon Do belt system, however, red belt sounds awesome. Nice job:thumbsup2. It sounds like your whole family does Tai Kwon Do. I bet you like having people to practice with. No one else in my family is particulary in to karate. Do you have any siblings? I have one little brother named Rio:earsboy:. Rio is ten years old and posts occasionally. Where are you from? As I said previously I live in Germany, however, I used to live in New Hampshire. Were you on the Magic last time you cruised? I know it seems sort of silly since you were on a 7 night, however, once in a while the Wonder does nights. My favorite ship (as in desighn syle) is the Wonder. The only problem is the Wonder's cruises are generally much to short and all our friends are on the Magic. It will be nice to have a few more kids posting here.

Yes, the last ship was the Magic. And the Disney Cruise has been my only cruise so far. I have been to Walt Disney World about 20 times.

Sorry, I have not posted for a bit. I was at a summer camp right near Berlin. It was really fun. It was a German language Summer camp. So in the mornings we had German lessons and in the afternoons different activities. I really liked that it was right along the lake so I could take sailing lessons there, we got to stay in (relatively) nice college dorms (rather than normal Summer camp dusty cabin in the middle of the woods sort of accomodations), and on each Wednesday and Sunday we got to go on excursions in to Berlin. Unfortunatly I cannot post a lot since we got back late today (on train) and I am quite tired. I do not know the time in the USA, however, here it is 1:11 am (and if I was smart I would be asleep already). I will post more tomorrow.

Hello Everybody,

Sorry, I have not posted in quite some time my grandparents are visiting from Colorado and I just got back from a trip to Denmark stopping at Berlin on the way which was really fun. My family moved to Germany mainly due to my Father's work (he was an engineer for a international company based out of Germany, however, is now working as a consultant in total cost down and efficency of engineering and the LEAN processing system working at the same company, however, a different division). I love it in Germany. I especially love how beautiful it is, the history here, and being able to get places on my own. I can either walk, bike, take the tram, or the train to get anywhere I want/need to go. For example I take the tram to the library, Bismark Platz, and school, bike to grocery stores and restraunts, walk to karate class and more restraunts, take the train to German Class. I could even take the train home from Summer Camp in Berlin. Here's another question (though it is not really fair to call it of the week)



What is your Favorite Disney Animated Movie?

Mine are probably Beauty and the Beast, Pochahontas and Aladin.

Sorry, I have not posted in ages. My school just started. I learned it is really difficult to manage school in German (particularly learning Spanish in German) and it takes up most of my time, however, Fall break (Herbst Ferien) just started and I have a week off.

Welcome on to the Dis to Erik, Holly, Peter, and Sam. Some background information for you. My name is Marika. I am twelve years old. I have one little brother named Rio. He is ten years old. I am from the USA (various states), however, I now live near Heidelberg, Germany. I am in 8th grade. My hobbies include reading, karate, and girl scouts. I have been on ten cruises before (6 Disney:thumbsup2, 3 Princess:goodvibes, 1 Carnival:sad2:).

I am really sorry about your Dad Sean. However, I am really glad that you are still going on the cruise.

In answer to the question of the week. I think the pools and on deck is always nice in good weather. In bad weather the Promenade Lounge can be quite nice. I hang out there with my friend Abby a lot.

We cannot hang out in the Quest because Disney changed it to be a club instead of being open to all. Now there are age limits. If you are close to the edge you can sometimes bump up or down, however, the general rules are:

the Oceaner Club is ages 3 to 7
the Oceaner Lab is ages 8 to 10
Ocean Quest is ages 11 to 13
the Stack is age 14 and up

I believe that would put Peter (maybe) and Holly in the Club, Erik, Sam, Rio, Jessica, Alyia, and Samantha in the Lab and Sean and I in the Quest.

Hi I'm Haley and I am 10 years old. My 3 year-old brother Cameron, my mom and dad, and I are about to sail out on our first Disney cruise! We are very excited. Let me tell you a little about myself.

I love all animals but dogs and dolphins are my two favorites. I have two dogs named Sandy and Cinder. I want to be a Marine Biologist and study dolphins and whales when I grow up. I am a green belt in Tae-kwon-do. I'm also Girl Scouts. I love to read and am reading the first Harry Potter book.

Cameron loves trains, cars, trucks, planes, and helicopters. He also loves dinosaurs especially T-rexs. He loves Spongebob and Thomas the Train.

We are also going to Disney World for a few days before and after. My grandma is coming with us for six days after the cruise. It is her second time coming with us. My favorite thing about Disney World is rides. Definitely rides. Everest and Rockin Roller coaster are my favorites. Cameron finally get's to ride the bigger rides such as Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Dinosaur. This is his fourth trip and he is finally tall enough. However, he is still too short for Space Moutain :(

Hi this is Jessica!

My favorite part of the ship is the Mickey Pool and the kids clubs. It has been 4 years since I sailed and can't wait. At WDW, my favorite ride is Rockin' Rollercoaster.

I have a red (decided) belt in TaiKwonDo (my parents and I train together). I have a dog and 3 cats.


I do YMCA Indian Princesses with my dad (this year moved up to Indian Explorers).

I can't wait to meet you all on the ship. I got to meet disneycruisin's son a couple of weeks ago at dinner (they live near us).

Can't believe this time next month, :dance3:we'll be on our 3rd day on the ship.

Hi Sean. I also love the ocean (if you count Castaway Cay as part of the ship). However, I generally tend to prefer colder water (off the coasts of Denmark and Main are awesome). That does not mean I will not take Castaway Cay or Mexico any day though. I particularly adore buggy boarding. Have you ever buggy boarded? If not you ought to. It is fabulous.

Hello Erik and Holly. Rio and I cannot wait to meet you as well. The lab is awesome. Unfortunately I am too old for it, however, the Quest is great as well and Rio will be in the Lab. Maybe you two can hang out together some.

Hi Jessica. Rockin' Roller Coaster is awesome. However, the one at Disney Land Paris is not nearly so much fun. They got rid of the whole story and all the cool lights! So it is just a fast roller coaster in the dark. No story! What is Indian Princesses? I have never heard of it, however, it sounds like fun.

Hi Sean. Good question of the week. I am going to MVMCP, however, before rather than after the cruise. Have you ever been before? I have, however, I do not remember it very well because I was quite little. Have you ever been to Disney around Christmas time? If not you simply have to see the Osborn Lights. They are gorgeus. All you have to do to edit your post is click the edit button underneath the post. If you want to do more than just basics (like add a smilie) then you click the go advanced button.

Actually Marika, I am homeschooled (hoping Mom leaves everything at home!!:eek:) That's cool that you were too. How are you adjusting to school (especially in a foreign language??) I think we have to get back so dad can get back to work (he'll miss days at Thanksgiving and then Christmas coming up).

We are doing Fish Extenders! They didn't exist when we sailed in 2005 (at least we didin't know about them - only did door magnets).

Hi Jessica. I did not know you were homeschooled too. How neat? Regular school is fine, however, being homeschooled was way better. I particularly miss sleeping in:cloud9:. Your Dad's work is probably the problem:sad2:. My Father's work might have been a problem (I think they just gave him the time of because they think our school will not let us off and we will have to cancel). Any ways whatever the reason we got the time off. Sorry your Dad could not. Hopefully your Mom will leave the school work at home. I think she would because I cannot imagine she would want to teach on vacation any more than you would want to learn on vacation. The worst casinario I can see is if she wants you to do school work on the plane. Hopefully not.

Hi Jessica. The WWII museum sounds like fun. Isn't that sort of stuff so interesting? If you ever ever in Berlin you should definetely check out the Museum of the Escape. It is right near to Check Point Charlie and incredibly interesting. It is about all the ways people found to escape from East Germany when it was communist. It really shows you how horrible that must have been. Anyways, I am glad it sounds like you will not have any school work on the trip. Rio and I probably will have plenty of homework (and plenty of time to do it. It's a ten hour flight!). I have no protest about books at least. I love to read and always bring quite a few books on every trip.

Hello Jessica. I cannot wait to snorkel as well. Isn't it so much fun? If you can believe it I have never actually participated in the kids clubs on Castaway Cay. I have to much fun on the beach to leave. It does sound like fun, however.

Hi Sean. I am glad you are doing fish extenders. Those will be so much fun. Have you ever done them before? I have and they are awesome. Particularly on the Trans-Atlantic. There were so many dissers that trip we would go in our room for five minutes emptying the fish extenders as we entered. When we left (five minutes later) there would be more in them! Yes, I do have my own cell-phone. However, two things first I do not have a US number (I have a German phone number) and second you should never post your number on a public forum. You should definetely talk to your mother and might be interested in going back and erasing it.

Hello Haley. It is really neat that you are also a Girl Scout. Aren't scouts so much fun. I know I love them. I also had a lot of fun helping out with the local Daisy troop (I love little kids and I love Girl Scouts. What better match. I also helped with the preschool karate class. Same idea except for karate not Girl Scouts.) Any ways back to Girl Scouts. When does your troop sell cookies? My Michigan troop sold cookies around Valentines day. That was perfect. We sold to every man with flowers and sold a ton. However, the NH cookie time was late Autum. Not quite so perfect. Have you ever tried going door to door on cold snow covered NH middle of nowhere rual roads? Not quite so fun. Ofcourse here is the worst. Germany does not do Girl Scouts! However, I am attempting to join the troop on the military base and hope that will work.

I cannot wait to see you all on the trip and do not believe it is just two and a half weeks from now. Thank goodness I should be better by then (Currently I am fighting the flu:sick:).

My favourite Disney phrase is "I'm funner than Mickey Mouse." I know funner is not a word, but it is what Keyon said. Keyon was the best Cast Member ever on DCL and he always said that.
