is this pool just not in theme with the rest of the resort? I understand the need for a pool with a slide to keep the resort up to date in the deluxe resort category, and I confess to only seeing this pool from afar, but is it in theme with the idea of the Grand Floridian? I mean where in Florida do you find rocks and waterfalls like that? The poly volcano makes sense, maybe a little victorian tower with a slide and garden decorated pool area would have been better? Anybody else feel the new pool is out of place?

Nope, it's not you. I agree that it does feel out of place. I think they could have done something more keeping with the theme that would have been jsut as exciting.

As much as I love the resort, and I like the new pool a lot too .. I have to agree that the themeing could have been something more ... Victorian somehow..

Yeah, that rock formation really isn't victorian! I wish they would have made a victorian structure to hold the waterslide, or have done something else, but I guess what's done is done.
