I just joined the disboards so I could reply to this. Thanks so much for posting this. We're just over the border in PA, less than 2 hours from Buffalo, so we'll be there. Besides, the 4th is my birthday. What a cool gift to myself. Yay.:cloud9:
Oh yeah... we'll be the mom and three boys with Mickey ears and matching Mickey shirts.:)
Again, thanks for the heads up.

Welcome to our board! I'm glad you saw my post and decided to join - it's a fun group. Have you and your boys ever been to Sheas? I love it, it's a beautiful old theater. I'm hoping to go but I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to. By the way, Happy Birthday! What a great way to spend your birthday ... well, going to Disney might be better but this is close!

Thanks, Sue. I'm looking forward to the "celebration". I already told my guys that if they don't want to come, they don't have and I won't at all be offended. They can spend the day with their dad rather than spoil my fun.
:grouphug: They hugged up on me and told me no way are they going to miss a whole day of Disney stuff. Bless their teenaged boy hearts!
And you're right... the only thing better would be to actually BE at WDW. But for my 40th b-day we're going for a little over a week. Yay!

It sounds like you've got great kids! I still don't know if I'll be able to go or not, I don't have much free time lately. If I don't make it then you'll have to provide a complete report!

Saxton,
Thank you.
Keep posting this stuff if you don't mind. We don't get the Disney stuff here Rochester and I've never been to Shea's. We can't do this one but hopefully something in the future.

Sue, I will most certainly do my duty as a lover of all things Disney by promptly and succinctly (well, maybe not so succinctly because I DO like to hear myself talk...) filing a trip report on the aforementioned western NY event.
;)
A quick question, though... I'd love to buy the combo passes, but I don't see a way to do that through TicketMaster. Can I buy the tickets at the door, or would that be risking a big fat disappointing posibility of it already being sold out?
So many questions, so few answers!
Ta!

Here's the link for the combo package at Shea's:

If you have amy problems just search on Ticketmaster for Shea's and Disney and you should find it. I searched earlier today and it looks like everything is general admission so I think you'll be ok. :thumbsup2

PS: I don't think it will be sold out. I'm getting my haircut in the morning and I'm hoping to go sometime later it the day if I can get a few spare minutes, I didn't order tickets but I'm thinking it will be ok. All seats are general admission and Shea's is pretty big.

Will do! Are you interested in anything else or just Disney shows? Shea's sends me emails pretty often - Patti Lupone and Mandy Patinkin are coming for 1 show in May.

Until my kids are older, probably just the Disney stuff. We have a hard enough time to find a sitter to go out around here much less get to Buffalo (though we did make it to a Bills game last October).
Thank you.
