Font Download Question

Once I download a Font, i.e. Disney font -- how do I make it available for use? I am so technologically challenged!:confused3

you place it in the Fonts directory under Windows and it will be available to your software. If you have VISTA it sometimes hides some of your system files. I generally have to download the font to my DESKTOP and then move to the Fonts directory. It won't let me directly download to the directory.
