Oh Shep the lilies are fantastic and everything looks lovely.

I've almost given up on the lilies aroung here. Hope you never get the red poop bug, they are devastating. They just eat and eat until there is nothing left to the lily. They showed up in Cambridge Ma. a few year and have been disastrous to the lilies.

Well my Peonies are finally blooming, picked a few for the house yesterday. 2 1/2 inches of rain has washed the color out of some, but they still look and smell wonderful.

I have talked before about the ring supports I purchased at home depot last year, I purchased more this year. These supports are wonderful. In the past the peonies would have all been on the ground after all the heavy rain. The supports keep them all upright. If you have plants with heavy top blooms invest in these supports they are so much better then sticks and twine, plus they can be re-used year after year.

Shep looks like some of my lilies in the front have surivived the red poop bug. They should be blooming this week. Nothing as grand as yours. Jusy a few pinks, yellows, reds and oranges. Every lily in the back yard has been de-foliaged.

Love your lillies some wonderful little chipmunks ate a whole garden of lillies on me. I have two left out of about 30 or 40 plants. I give up on the chipmunk battle.

I miss my lillies though.

My plant of the weekend is my peony. It looks wonderful.

Wish I knew how to post pictures. Oh well.
