What is the December rate you've paid at YC or GF?

We're planning a 4 night stay from December 13-17 and are considering YC or GF. Can you tell me the best rate you've paid for either of these in past years? The other resorts I'm considering are CBR and AKL, but having already stayed at those, I'm familiar with their rates. This is still value season, too. Thanks!!

I got the Grand, lodge tower room, for ... I *think* it was $234/night last year, from 12/20-24.

We stayed 9 nights (Nov 29 -Dec 8) last year, YC waterview for the incredibly low price of $1888 and are hoping we can come close this year for our early November stay. BTW that's $189/night plus tax.

Patio-Sorry I can't help you with the YC or GF. You mentioned you have stayed at the AKL during that time in December before. We are going to be there those exact same days this year. My rate is hard to decifer because we are doing a four adult discovery magic package but we are paying $2939 total for four nights, ultimate park hopper passes and magical wishes to cover our fine dining and massages at the Disney Institute. I believe the room is around $205 per night but that is for four adults. Does that sound like a decent rate? It's a savanna view room.

Last time I stayed at the GF in December was in 1998, we paid $262 per night tax included for Garden View. :) January 2002 we paid $276 per night tax included for Lagoon View! Live and Learn!

Hi Trampslady, I stayed at AKL last Dec 8-12, 4 nights, on a $134 postcard rate, standard view. Upon check-in, we received a free savanna upgrade. I believe it was because the resort was not full. It is a beautiful place. Dh would love to go back, but I'm willing to try GF or YC, if I get a good rate. I've never done a package before so I'm not too sure how that all breaks down, but I'd say you have a good rate and the savanna view is definitely worth it. Any other questions, feel free to pm me.
