Either. New ideas or you could even mention some that have been done in the past. If there are certain exchange hosts that usually host that particular exchange, then we could let you know when it may be coming up.

Is it almost time for a flip-flop exchange? Our weather is cold (again), but I do see flip-flops on sale everywhere.
Tinkerbell exchange?
I like the Tinkerbell:tinker: exchange idea!! She is my all time favorite!!:thumbsup2

Glad someone mentioned Tinker Bell. Nancy sent me a PM that she didn't want to do the Fun in the Sun that she had planned and was changing it to anything Tinker Bell.
So Patsy, if a Fun in the Sun exchange sounds good you could host that one.

I really liked the Lime Green Exchange, it was fun knowing that your package could contain anything. Is this one in the pipeline again? Or how about another colour exchange? I'd also be up for keyrings as I'm always on the lookout for nice ones. I'll ponder what else we could exchange.

Anything Tinkerbell is on the schedule.....and also Pooh and friends will be coming again. Also Disney princesses.
Not sure about flip flops....MommaU4 usually hosts that and I haven't seen her around in a long time.
Lime green can be arranged ::yes:: Always a good one.
gift cards didn't go well last time :( We only had 4-5 play in it, so not sure about that. Someone else is welcome to host it.
I was hoping we would be on our move to AZ for the Fun in the Sun exchange, but we aren't and it is never that sunny here :( so decided to pass....someone else can take that one if they want it.

Sure, I could host it. I had hosted the Summer Exchange before, and it sounds similar, so be on the lookout for it folks. ;)

To host an exchange, you come up with an idea. There are some hosts that have already been doing certain exchanges, and it is an annual or such exchange for them...so you can check with one of the hosts such as myself or Meriweather to see if there are any hosts that will be putting together that particular exchange. Then you will need to get all of the sign up info. together-see current exchanges to see what info. you need, and start your sign up. Once sign ups are over, you will send out all the participants their pals info., set up a sent/received thread, and keep track of everyones mailings.

She's good. Just really busy. Just got back from Disneyland Ladies trip, a bunch of ladies will be visiting Las Vegas so she's acting as tour guide, plus she's got a million things to do with the kids.

Each school district has it at different times here, several had it last week my county is the week after Easter which is a horrible week. I am having to take my DD18 out of school the Thurs & fri before due to her have a state FBLA competition on thursday and fri of spring break (the person who sets up the state competition hasd spring break last week) and I am cutting my vacation short...
So how many days will you be at WDW??? Here in MA we all have the same week off, but some of the other New England states have the following week off!:cool1::thumbsup2
Well I guess the person setting up the schedule wasn't going to make the state competition for their vacation week!!! :sad2::rotfl: What we do for our kids!!!:confused3;)

Hey Trish, Glad to hear you think this would be fun. I think I will run this one sometime after Easter as I know around here there is a distinct lack of tourists in the winter. Everything touristy seems to start up around Easter. I'll be sure to let you know. :thumbsup2

When we went to DL in Feb, I did up matching Mickey Mouse head t shirts that I found on the DISign board (the abstract spray painted Mickey Mouse head). Alot of the cast members were commenting on how greyt they were. Let me know when you want to put the Tacky Tourist exchange on, and you can count me in on it. Have a great day!!

Nancy those costume are great! Black socks and white trainers, oversize sunglasses, dodgy headgear and clashing prints......are you sure you're not British? :lmao:
We also had a blast at MNSSHP, we went as a tribe of cannibals and were like celebs all night. :thumbsup2 You can see a small pic in my signature, maybe I could find a bigger one.

Yep.....I have seen many tourists look like that :rotfl:
DH made the camera too....picture doesn't really show it, but it was way oversize and had a picture of Mickey and gang on the lens.
I see your photo all the time....looks great.
No idea what we will do if we go back again....it might just be this year ;)
Those costumes were easy, light and we threw them away after.

Hello again! It is summer so I am back, talk about your fair weather friend. :lmao: As always, my DDs are asking about a book exchange for kids/teenagers. (Well, truthfully only one is, but the other one will read this summer!)

I am wondering about a DVD exchange :confused3
Also, looking at my desk at work and noticing I have a lot of "stuff"... I thought it might be fun to have a desk/home exchange. And we need not buy anything (optional). We simply exchange an item (or items) from either our home or work office that represents us (or who we work for/what we do). :3dglasses Might be kind of fun to see someone else's junk -- er... good stuff.
Or how about a home/office/work/cube exchange? :)

This is an exchange I was thinking of as well since my daughter is really into reading, and needs harder books.
But, there are not that many kids participating in exchanges these days, so I wonder how the turn out would be.

 Maybe it doesn't have to be just children, but adults would have to submit a few titles of books they are interested in reading. Or combine it with a bookmark or DVD exchange? Maybe a Summer Activity exchange. Or not at all. I know our school year got chaotic quick so we are now getting back onto the exchange scene.

How about a dessert exchange? I don't recall having this before. Different from the snack exchange as this is what I suggest for the dessert:
1) A recipe
2) A dessert, even if it is a dessert box mix
3) Item(s) dessert related. Such as a specific type cookbook, dessert cups or spoons, dessert toppings, bakeware utensils, etc.

I will think of something, and put it together this coming week, or next week :). We did have a summer exchange, but could always do another one.
